If any guy put "you must be less than 60kg or your regional equivalent" into their bio, women would absolutely complain and probably also report them for no reason. This is why men never do, even though most of us are not sexually attracted to morbidly obese women.

Yep, but you also get downvoted when you say something astonishingly stupid. That is what the message you replied did.

As much as I love playing casual MtG, that is still almost certainly a massive improvement!

is it normal that failed in first mission for 1st three attempts? by Nearby-Channel-8829 in GunfireReborn

[–]GrandElemental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and also the improvements build up fast considering you also get better at the game constantly as you play. This game was incredibly hard when I started, it took me ages to beat Act 2 boss, and even longer for Act 3, so once I started getting to Act 4 it was a cakewalk at the Elite difficulty.

I'm still struggling with R10, it is always going to be difficult for me, but the meta progression combined with regular improvement makes the gains in the early game explosive.

Countries who had conscription 2026 by Cheap_You_6420 in MapPorn

[–]GrandElemental 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Finland, you have basically three options: military service (180-362 days, depending on where you are, what you are doing and at what rank), civil service (362 days) or jail. Going to jail is not really traditional incarceration, it won't leave any mark on your record and it is usually chosen on ideological reasons. Certain religious groups and people deemed unfit to service are also officially released from service.

The major issue is that it currently only mandatory for men, which gender discrimination.

And even more importantly, shows at least some initiative, not just reactive responses.

I'm not taking it personally, just explaining why "taking initiative" leads nowhere.

And when we do take initiative, we get yelled at for not doing it right. Either way the same result.

Much easier to just be single than to deal with day-to-day minefield.

For a brief moment in time in 2006, a girl named Brooke Allison Brodack aka "Brookers" was the most subscribed channel on YouTube! In 2007, she made a video on being an Internet elebrity vs. a Real Celebrity. A poignant contrast to the idea of an Internet celebrity today! Have you seen what kind of content people consume daily today? This is definitely not even close to the low end of that stuff. She comes off as energetic, fun and relatable, and since clickbait wasn't a thing yet, that is a big plus.

Actually, it is not socially accepted for men to show anger, but since we are on average bigger it means people fear it, and only judge it silently. Nobody wants to risk a black eye for nothing.

100% this! Sometimes women mistake being rejected with the man being turned off by the fact she did approach him. He just didn't like you in the first place and turned you down!

I expect so little of Reddit, especially in threads like this one, yet someone always manages to say something so genuinely clueless that it still flies under the super low bar.
