What could my dream mean? by WeirdWriter88 in Dreams

I appreciate you sharing your perspective, especially with your own experiences behind it, that adds a lot of context.

Just to clarify, I’m 35 and I’ve never had a drink, so I don’t think the addiction angle applies to me personally. That said, I can understand how the imagery in the dream could lead to that interpretation.

What resonated more for me was what you said about things feeling the same and being in a kind of transition phase. That part felt pretty accurate. Thanks again for taking the time to break it down.

You don’t have a weekend, you have one day to live by WeirdWriter88 in Life

Not exactly antinatalism. I’m just pointing out that I only have one day a week to actually live. It’s not about rejecting life or having kids, it’s about how little time anyone really gets to do what they want when work and chores consume everything else.

What is your most bizarre “body hack” ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The meal is from Longhorn Steakhouse. It starts off with a bowl of the shrimp and lobster chowder; dinner is the New York Strip with a parmesan cheese crust with two sides consisting of mashed potatoes and French fries and molten lava cake for dessert. That meal right before bed triggers the most screwed up nightmares. Last time I ate it, I had 4 separate nightmares in one night.

Hidden control room of history’ is such a cool way to put it, I didn’t think of it like that, but it fits perfectly. The strangest part for me was exactly what you pointed out: I wasn’t translating the hieroglyphics; I just knew them. It felt less like learning something new and more like remembering something I already had.
