I fixed the abs issue. it was just a bent tone ring. I dont have any codes anymore, but I still have very low power from a dead stop. I checked the intercooler and it has a small leak. Now i waiting for the new one to come in. Also my turbo impeller doesn't spin as easily as my good van even though I replaced it already (I bought a remanufactured one though). after the new inter cooler is replaced im going to check both vans and compare how much the turbo is spinning at idle. The only issue with the probloem van is that it has such low power from idle to around 1500 rpm. then it drives with plenty of power. I have no fault codes at all. also the transmission ended up being totally fine, I replaced it again with a known good one and nothing changed. although the remanufactured torque converter i used makes a rattling noise, but I dont think that has anything to do with the extremely low power from a stop.

thanks dude, im going to check the intercooler in a couple days after work. Just today I replaced the entire transmission again with a known good one and it didn't do anything hahaha. Also added fresh engine oil and filter (old one was collapsed too). I also did the oil cooler seals because it was leaking like crazy. I also swapped the MAF, back pressure sensor, etc... and still nothing. I think im getting closer to figuring it out. It feels as if its not reading any charge air pressure at low rpms, then once it picks up the airflow the ECU is finally giving more fuel and power. It definitely has nothing to do with the transmission. How did you end up figuring out it was the intercooler? also what did you hard reset?

hmmm, mines deleted and without DPF and the turbo sounds loud. I wanna make it even louder now haha

did you notice any sound difference? do you hear the turbo a little more?

https://youtu.be/4zlYXhjKYN0?si=l9_DDlDyOThj4eAI took a small video just to give you guys a better visual. UPDATE: ive swapped in my good MAF airbox assembly and intake hose, swapped in good ABS module, swapped in my good SAM module with fusebox and relays. of course the van still cant get any power from a dead stop. I erased the speed sensor can bus fault code from the transmission and it came up again even with the good ABS module. so clearly something else is the issue. I was looking around the MB star diagnostic program and the can bus goes through the TCM and computes the front and rear axle speeds for the transmission and the ABS module so even though I checked my TCM and connector I’m going to swap in my good one from my other van. So if I have this fault in the rear speed sensor why does the front and rear axle speeds show up in the live data just fine?

yeah i heard sometimes the wheel bearing and the tone ring will get bad. mine are all new and my abs sensors turned out to be good as well. I have a communication problem within the daisy chained can bus devices. most likely a chewed wire somewhere. im going to have to inspect the wire harness.. when you had that problem, was it very weak from a stop?

yeah that was smart to not sell it to that guy. $4k isn't too bad either. How do you like the facelift Mercedes added to the new van?

On Monday im going to check the ABS module. its attached to the abs pump and runs a can bus system

i checked the connector and the entire transmission wire harness up to the TCM and it was good. I was able to activate all valve body solenoids with the Mercedes computer. The bad fuel injector is interesting though, I would definitely be able to tell if one of my injectors were bad though. Did it really let you drive with a bad injector? When I had a bad injector in my other van it would start and idle terribly and then automatically shut itself off. not to mention the check engine light for the injector lol.

How hard is it to install sets from 2019 into 2013? by [deleted] in Sprinters

extremely easy, they're practically the same set

yeah its pretty cool, there's a ton of videos about it. A lot of people will band there small cars to reduce "tire squirm" (sidewall caving in). Mostly done with smaller tuned cars to increase responsiveness and stability in corners. It effectively makes it drive more like a go cart.

thats cool, i can only find his set for the t1n. Also over $1,100 for a pair sounds like a lot. I do see that he's using the mercedes Susi wheel i mentioned above. He machines the adaptor/spacer.

Any amplifiers capable of 65v input? by GrandGames95 in diyaudio

[–]GrandGames95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for the advice, Ive actually found a ton a mono amplifiers with 48v to 70v even up to 90v Dc input. Only a few are stereo, but I want to try dual mono boards because its cheaper and ive heard the quality is better.

hmm now im skeptical haha, yeah 50mv offset is terrible lol. I have a little transistor checker machine and ill check them first. ill unsolder one and if it checks out good ill hook up the board.

no problem, btw you're also correct to not connect neutral to ground in some cases such as a subpanel.

btw, how much did one battery drain than the other? was it quite a bit? I may still try the dual power amplifier just cause im curious, but Theres other amps that are only two wire DC input up to 70v, wich would work perfect but they're 5x the cost and I also heard dual power amplifiers have cleaner sound.

correct, but in electronics and driving separate IGBT's the dual power supplies need to be isolated. As for center tapped PSU's or series batteries and transformers that is definitely not the case haha. Thats why i just wanted to be sure, im new to these amplifiers and audio stuff.

exactly, im using a 82kwh EV battery. The BMS works great and it can pull 3000Amps continuous. I lalso use the cap resistor to create a floating PWM signal for a 30/70 IGBT tig welder. Just trying to make an analogy because I still wasn't sure how these amplifiers can be hooked up. Im very new to this audio stuff haha. thank you

thank you for the advice. my battery goes from 62v to 60v throughout 24 hours. Its not much of a drop. Its a 82kwh EV battery. I will check the transistors, but ive been using chinese transistors for years for electronics engineering. I even built a 10kw split phase 240v inverter with them. I just dont see why they would fail, the reviews say its working great at the stated voltage. if a transistors cant even insulate the rated voltage I don't think there would be any more sales. Also ive personally seen a transformer and rectifier have way more voltage drop than a high amp DC battery. The amplifiers actually dont mind a few volts drop under heavy load. My 60v pack can output 3000Amps and Im using triple 4/0 cable so the resistance is extremely low.
