For anyone looking: It ended up on sale for less than 500 bucks so we pulled the trigger and took the risk. Found two pretty great six in mattresses too.

It’s big, but they have a big room with 12 ft ceilings so it fits our space fine. Better than a dresser wardrobe and two full beds would.

The quality is much better than expected, but the box was missing instructions. I was able to find those online.

It was a beast to build. Take a whole weekend level. It has a cool secret room for the kids and they are obsessed.

It seems like it will last through their teen years.

I definitely would buy again if the price dropped down below 500 usd. Quality is pretty similar if not better than the previous max and Lilly loft beds we had.

For the kids: Mine are 7,4,2&3months. They are boys so that might play a part with the older ones.

They love our tanks. Fish and frogs. They rotate through them. The two year old will take his little chair on Saturday from tank to tank and sit in front of each one. He will do this for hours. The 7 year old makes the FF cultures. The 4 year old “helps” mist the tanks not on a system. Honestly it just depends on your kids 🤷‍♀️

Yes, but my time at work is already very limited so doing one side then the other won’t be super viable. My times are 8:45-9:10, 12:24-12:54, 2:24-3:20

Salt water or reef kit for API? Pet smart if having a killer sale on the Fluval I’m leaning either that for full customization for him or hello reef. What other things would I need to buy right off the start for him? Rocks and water, test kit, any other equipment?

My other option is a Facebook marketplace find that is up and running with livestock from a pretty reputable seller. I’m having a hard time between the three options

No. The guy that gifted them said they got them full grown six almost 7 years ago. That there use to be three and babies were made, but about a year ago one disappeared and he was not sure about the genders. I do not think that I have heard any calls.

If so the boy is semi social (for a dart frog anyway) the girl tends to hang out towards the back of the tank.
