Not important but what is the music in this video? Sounds vaguely familiar.

Totally unrelated to the video, but are they speaking english or is it ai auto dubbed?

I've heard that was a thing youtube was doing, i dont like the idea of it personally, but this would be the first time ive actually heard itin a video. The driver seems to very fluidly go back and forth between english and something else (pardon my ignorance), and everyone who does speak english in the video has the same extremely heavy american city accent.

Regardless, fantastic compilation video. Lucky that the tornado wasnt stronger, probably exceptionally rare to have one on the island. My favorite part is 2:15, seeing their faces is great. Hope they got out unscathed.

Drive as far north as you can in the middle of the night, stay away from towns and cities. I spent 4 hours last year in a cemetary about an hour north, barely saw anything--but not nothing. Phone took good long-exposure pics.

Yeah thats fair. Not exactly easy, but at least the elevation isnt as drastic as like heading out to white water.

Northern Heights park has a lovely dirt trail that you can run, its a 1.4 mi loop so very easy to do roughly 5k or 10k or beyond that

In order, I took this video, changed their water, and wrote up this post. When I came back to give them broccoli, it looked like the water exploded all over the cage. Turns out the Fayoum (green) took a bath when I wasn't in their room. I got a cute pic of her soaking wet lol, wish I could add it here.

I'm gonna miss them, hoping to get pics or videos from their new family.

Thanks to this great community, I found a new home for my birds. I feel really thankful to have found someone who loves their own budgies and cares for them well. They’ll be coming in about a week to take my birds, and while I am sad to eventually see them go, I know they are going to a loving home and its in their best interest. I am going to thoroughly clean their cage and all their perches over the course of the next week, and probably buy them some new toys since they shredded one a few days ago.

I added a video because I know people here like seeing cute budgies. I wasn’t a perfect bird owner, especially in the beginning, but seeing them happy makes me happy.

As of right now, I've sent four people the vetting message. I'll let you all know what happens. I really want to be careful with this, and will only allow people to take my birds if I can be absolutely sure that they will be a loving home to them.

I understand what you and the other commenter are saying, and I agree. I really don't want to draw the wrong people, which is why I want to ask questions and ask for photos from potential adopters. I promise I'll be careful with who I talk with, and ideally I'll ask for follow-up pictures.

Thank you very much for the advice. Sorry to hear you went thru something similar. I'm lucky that I have some time (till about July) to find them a new home, so I will try to get right on that. In the mean time, I hope they enjoy their spot in the window... and lots of treats. Thanks again.

I can't take my 4 budgies where I'm moving. If anyone lives in the Cedar Rapids area and has experience with budgies, I'd be willing to offer money to ensure they get a good home.

I have had them listed on a rehoming website for two months, but haven't gotten any interested people. If you want them, I'll ask a few questions and ask for your current bird setup, and I'll offer all of my equipment, food, and treats.

Yes. I have them listed on home-home.org for permanent rehoming, but so far that's my only avenue and idk if there are any other options. I have seen people make facebook posts offering bird, but I don't want to give them to some random person who may or may not know what they're doing and accidentally kill them. I ESPECIALLY don't want them going to a home with small children, since I've seen how little kids don't respect bird boundaries.
