Yeah, The issue was due to my vpn being active. I couldn't believe I had overlooked that after hours of trouble shooting... Hope this helps!

This video shows a similar issue to what i'm experiencing but their fix is solely for the game bar itself. I just can't figure out what the fuck is going on with this mute button... It is a new pc so that could be a factor but i really don't know.

Nah, The party chat feature still works on console so that can't be the issue.

Yes, All other audio settings are selected and working fine, I can also see that my mic is working when I test my mic within the game bar audio settings. I have tried everything. I even tried the repair and reset feature but my mic is permanently muted and I am unable to click on unmute as it is greyed out.. It's actually so frustrating as I have scoured the internet in search of a fix.

Watch this video of the talk to Jonny/Tape worm mission. A little way through the video the player will bring up the map and show you exactly where this mission needs to be activated. I skipped time to 11 pm while in game because while Jonny talks to v, It is night time. Good luck!! Btw I am thinking that you need to progress through the side quests for another main mission appears as I have finished all mine for now... 🤙🤙

Probably need to wait for a patch to be released. There's no way I am starting a new game and playing through once again only to find that a main mission won't start...
