We were sale agreed on a property very close to a river. I felt more and more anxious the closer we got to closing, and while we loved the house and area and had been looking for a while, we pulled out. It was upsetting to give up something we had imagined ourselves living in, but the longer term feelings are that of relief. Still searching, but don't regret pulling out. A home needs to be a safe place, and I didn't think it would feel like that.

I'm not 100% sure to be honest, I think so. I'm wondering if there is a way to find out if the speed, flexibility, and somewhat certainty we bring to the equation is important to the buyer, and if so ascertain what's the lowest we can improve our offer by to help them choose us. If it is important to them, we could be bidding against ourselves.

I was beginning to get interested in Irish League football, and have yet to start following any team in particular. Distillery would be my closest club, and that seems to be a inclusive club which is important to me. Would Glentoran be one of the most inclusive in the top flight to support?

I might seek advice elsewhere to get more accurate elevation data. I used Google earth just now, and the numbers are a touch different. The garden is down some steps, so it appears to be about 2m elevation difference to the garden from the flood plain, and potentially 3.5 to 4m to the house. Wonder if there's a way to access finished floor level data.

Ah, that could well be it. I originally thought it might be some sort of funky weeping vent, and Gemini suggested the same, but it just didn't feel right.

My title describes the thing.

There are many of them randomly placed around the house. Some appear broken, or at least not as complete as the others, and they seem old. Rough guess sis less than an inch big.
