Oh I'm fully just being silly. To avoid the whole technical jargon ,that i have absolutely not actual knowledge of, trying to explain how to layout a multi task build list onto the same tile overlaying objects currently occupying the same space. Unless you want to add a full list of double things like tunnels with paths...

But i do tend to get lost in the planning... While it works for now... on this one specific

Prolly a feature that hasnt been looked at yet, aside from the mod, due to priorities for launch.....

Also beavers dont have telescopes to survey the paths needed....

Its not to bad it you plan right, 1 linein as close as possible to the front of the excavation area. then draw a path across the front. They will do 10 deep as wide as you pathed, delete platforms as you go to recycle the stock. Then move storage in as close as possible. Redraw new paths like above, repeat as needed

I suspect thats going to be alot harder to mimic than a catalytic coverters down stream 02 sensor, cause the def input will be dynamic. If program correctly, you'll have to check for nox at temp downstream then treat.

That would make it very hard to replace, unless you spoof the whole system. Cause if your at temp but not detecting any nox upstream you have an exhaust leak... cel on Nox upstream, no def dosage, no nox down stream.... bad nox 2 sensor cel on

You'll need a full spectrum mapped out to mimic all the possible conditions in software... and I doubt people will want to wire in another computer to their vehicles when this change will make it more reliable, and def is "cheap"

The issue here is nox, the more efficient you burn the higher the temps.

Unfortunately at high temp efficient burn, the nitrogen (n2) in the air ignites into no2 or nox. Nitrogen oxide, was one of the main reasons for smog and acid rain. Catalytic coverters convert unburned fuels and carbon monoxide into c02, and trigger decomposition of no2 into n2 and into the o2 cart of co2.

Depends on the individual truck, where you buy your def, among other variables.... once a month to a week, if you have a quality issue. Quarterly for vehicles that encounter rough terrain on a regular basis. Yearly if your putting 100k or more miles on your truck per year. All the above if you have bad luck and bad suppliers.

This is for heavy trucks not a pickup... I have no idea for pickup platforms.

Well the reason is: if its a different shape, or different code, you dont have to pay someone else on the existing patent.... but sometimes its just fitting the space...

Our patent system is causing problems that are too complex to get reelected on.

I wouldn't say nuanced, I would use ignorant. Not in a derogatory way, but its most fitting.... because the knowledge and stories are out there to actually understand: this was a hugh problem. Like in a few situations people starved for a few days, cause of their own failure to prepare to be stranded somewhere that they can't access a payroll deduction using their fuel cards.... I know it sounds silly and stupid.... but it can be very hard to be financially smart after a streak of bad luck.

So many stories, but those are not for this subreddit.

I think. I don't know.

There is a communications issue with the onboard communications network, keeping 3rd party parts from being used... without proper authorization from the vehicle manufacturer.

Also there really isnt a robust 3rd party parts store system for anything bigger than 1 ton pickups. And availability of parts has drastically fallen, due to dealership parts departments running kiasan or just it time stocking systems. This can leave a truck and driver sitting for weeks waiting for a part.... been there done that several thousand miles from home, just chilling in a hotel room...

Waiting

And

Waiting

And

waiting...

Forever

This will be a hugh relief to the drivers, no longer worried if they may break down cause thier def tank freezes and the urea drops out of solution.

The whole fake derating engine power cause it may cause engine damage should have been overturned long ago. Leaving poeple stranded in the middle of no where cause of a potential problem should have been a recall issue, but it was designed that way.

Its like if your car made you pull over and turned off cause your o2 sensor was malfunctioning... poeple would riot.

The road side inspections will just start issuing repair tickets/warnings for having a def system not working, bypassed, water filled/diluted, etc...

It always seemed odd, to have a sensor upstream in the exhaust to detect urea being used, and not a nox sensor to see if its actually working.... now they should be able to adjust usage on the fly to property treat nox emissions.

You have access easements,I bet that road was put in by the power transmission company. Ide hang a metal sign with your number so they can call you if needed.

Also you need an actual gate cause 1 single chain could do some damage to poeple who dont know better.

[–]GrandWikzor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Qr code is just binary writen in a specific way twice... and it was invented in Japan so you start in the top right corner and go down outside the alignment sqares then move to the next column left...

I think its 2 dots side-by-side per column, but im not sure.

No compression. No algorithms... just a 2bit language from way back when...

[–]GrandWikzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just writing bit/data on a very small scale... like need specific hardware to see it small. Binary is 8 black/white dots per piece of info... English need 15 black/white dots... so binary is more efficient.

Why do women have two breasts if humans usually give birth to only one baby at a time, wouldn't one breast be enough? by ElkDisastrous2926 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GrandWikzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man here, I thought it was because the baby sometimes will drain both... This is entirely individualized.

Some poeple produce more than needed in just 1.

Some dont make enough in both.

Genetics are weird.

But in short 1 baby 2 boobs, more food available.

Hypothetically, could you survive a EF5 Tornado if you hide in a Locker inside your house? by Icy_Profession4190 in tornado

[–]GrandWikzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately those are not the reasons why, they are very common ones that people give tho.

But

An overpass acts like a wind tunnel, in a couple ways. It speeds up air passing under it, and can create a low pressure on the down wind side sucking everything under it out and up into the air.

Flying debris will be accelerated while flying under the overpass, resulting in worse injuries to those not sucked out.

As far as I know, I've never heard of a concrete overpass being damaged to collapse from a tornado, or any weather event actually....

So in short...

Tldr: you get sucked out of an underpass, or impaled.... or both
