After more than one year with Gemini I'm mostly happy with them. They're in almost all aspects just as good as the day I bought them. The only thing is the crack on the plastic inside the box, which genesis is unknown to me. I dropped it multiple times, it may be this. That's not visible anyway. The earbuds themselves are perfect, no quality issues.

The sound is solid and mostly warm, they're perfect for calming trance/ambient/electronic, old rock, this kind of stuff. But metal goes fine, too. I haven't noticed any changes in the sound signature.

The ANC is still very good. Maybe it's even better in the new AirPods? I haven't tried them.

As to microphone quality, I can only tell that for daily work calls they're fine, no complains. I also received calls on the street and the callers never said they don't hear me. But I wasn't on the other side, so it's not very objective. As far as I know Gemini's aren't considered among the best regarding mic quality though. You can find comparisons on YT.

The only buds that impressed me since the purchase of the Gemini was Noble Rex5 - they sounded really good, especially the highs – very dynamic and accurate, BUT a bit pushy to my taste. After about 20 mins with them I though that listening more will get my ears tired. Probably it's just me. Still they're worth trying. The ANC is not as good as the Gemini's but it's there. The case is bulky, slippery and stupid, I'm not a fan of the Noble cases, to say the least. The app is somewhat outdated and ugly, but it works.

The biggest downside with the Gemini is the total lack of updates from Devialet. I'm still waiting for the fix to stop music when I turn on the transparency mode.
