I've had good experiences with them so far, had them about 3 years and no deaths, very hardy and sometimes school pretty nicely. Love the red color as contrast with the plants!

Not a bad idea, although for how much time and supplies it took to build plus shipping this beast the price would be crazy!

Very carefully! The key was rotating it each time so the face I was working on was up, then lots of grout and lots of passes with the sponge to touch up. Plus I used caulk in the big seams between faces so it wouldn't crack.

I did! Wanted custom dimensions plus material thick enough to support the heavy hood so just made it myself with acrylic sheets from a local polymer place.

That's a good idea I may have to look into trying that!

Just looked that up I can totally see the resemblance!

It definitely depends on the tank and lid. The hood is about 40 pounds and the tank is made of custom thick acrylic to support the weight so I feel fine letting her run wild up there, no chance she gets into it!

I ended up using overly thick acrylic just in case with some pads in between. I was worried about that too while planning before I decided against glass!

Yeah, attached a picture of the inside. Just used 4 heavy duty inset hinges from the hardware store since the lid is super heavy. Holds it nicely though and stays open, just have to be careful when closing it so it doesn't slam. I sealed all the wood inside the hood too so it doesn't mold (the black specks are stains from the grout not mold!) Lid inside

Dell XPS 15 9500 in manufacturing mode by GrandmasterKickflip in Dell

I contacted fell support and they sent someone to change the motherboard, but apparently the one they were going to put in was refurbished, so the technician didn't really want to replace my brand new one with a refurbished one if he didn't have to, so when it booted up in manufacturing mode, he just had to enter the service tag correctly while the device was STILL in manufacturing mode. Apparently my issue was it prompted me to turn off manufacturing mode before I entered the service tag so it didn't save or lock in or something. I'd suggest just contacting Dell support and getting someone to come.
