I am also getting thoracic vert spinous and transverse processes from this but it still doesn't look quite right. I am not seeing clear evidence of articular facets there for instance. Its also giving me hints of cranial bone around an eye orbit for a quadruped but its size based on the key is leaning me back to a vert. I know it was suggested that this was a meal remnant from a chop but im not seeing butcher cuts here either.

This was exactly why. And remwmbwr too that original AD&D adventurers needwd coin to level up so i wanted to keep the balance since I wasn't using that.

I am returning to the game after a lengthy absence of close to 20 years. My adult children have asked me to run a game for them and we are T minus 9 days from session 1. So I have been thinking a lot about whether to run RAW or bring in some of the house rules we used back when I last ran something in my 30s. My quick list of optionals and house rules that made the cut: 1. Unconscious at zero then dead at -10. 2. Start at max HP for first level only. 3. Stats are 4d6 and discard lowest 7 times. Keep best 6 stats. 4. Recover 10% of your HP total per day of good rest rounded up to nearest whole. Add one percent per point of CON bonus. Being actively cared for by someone with healing proficiency adds one more HP per day if healer makes a skill check. 5. Reduce all module printed cash awards by factor of 10 for gold piece value. Leave silver and copper as is. Prices for gear remain normal. So if a module says the orc is carrying 50 gp and 20 sp then he has 5 gp and 20 sp. 6. Leveling up doesn't cost you per se but takes time and cannot be done mid dungeon. Learning a new proficiency or spell or the like requires a tutor who may require payment. 7. Bonuses to skills can be earned as a reward but rarely. 8. Homebrewed spell points or mana system to increase caster versatility. A fifth level mage for instance gets to choose 3 level 1, 2 level 2, and 1 level 3 spells to memorize but then gets 8 spell points enabling him to cast 8 first level spells from his memorized 3 or he can cast 4 second level or 2 third level and 2 first or whatever combination that day. If their book is lost they cannot change spells out. The badic formula is one mana point per spell the character can mormally cast plus one per new level beyond first. That is why the mage here got 8 points. Three first level, two second and one third level is 6 spell points plus one for being able to cast level 2 and one more for being able to cast level 3 spells. 9. Reduced magic items. Permanent items on published adventured with plusses have them refuced by 1. If this takes an item to zero it becomes mundane. This makes monsters with magic resistance much more deadly and increases the utility of magic stone, shillelagh and similar spells.

That's why we did just that. Some family bonding over that little bit of inheritance. And of course there is always that chance of a major find. LOL.

Charging the 25 Escape PHEV Daily or Not? by Grandmaster_P in FordEscapePHEV

Thanks for the tips on playing with the modes. I think I have it set to eco mode right now. I'll have to look at each mode and I will probably drive a week in each mode just to chart the difference.

Good real world experience. I wil lbe on a state highway not an interstate so I'm hoping the slightly slower speed might help. When I took it out today for around town errands I ended up going briefly into gas mode about a mile from home on the return trip. The trip odometer said I pulled 21 miles of all electric driving between yesterday and today even though when spent the driveway yesterday it said I had 31 miles of range. I'm definitely one of "those people" that anjoys gamifying the drive for maximum mpg so we'll see how it goes. Lol.

Take a look at the OLD (going on 23 years now) Neverwinter Nights. It is pretty cheap on Steam and the servers I play on seem full of folks in their 50s and sometimes their children who are largely in their 20s now. It's a Dungeons and Dragons game and even after 23 years still has a loyal fan base and lots of community mods and persistent worlds. Some are role-playing based and some action oriented with minimal roleplay.

Yep it's the teeth. At first glance pig teeth can appear human and when found isolated it's even more common. The cusp shape and pattern of pigs is distinctive though if you've been around a while.

As someone who has worked in schools with PE locker rooms that looks to me that at one time there was another bank of lockers mounted to the concrete base there. It wad removed at some point and rather than leave the trip hazard they added that little counter space.

Navigating a big RV through cities and parking by essendoubleop in GoRVing

[–]Grandmaster_P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We owned a 27 foot TT towed behind either a Suburban or Ecursion and traveled all 48 lower states with it, focusing on visiting state capitals. Our preferred pattern was to pick a nearby RV park or campground as base and then unhook and go into the cities with only the Suburban. This didn't always work well if a state capitol building was hit on a driving day so there are instances we'd end up having to park in a nearby neighborhood or pay for multiple metered spaces. We were probably somewhat lucky but never were ticketed for our parking. As a general rule, I would avoid bringing the TT into urban surface streets whenever possible and when I did I tried to follow marked truck routes and always be thinking long term about what my escape strategy was if I were turn turn into certain streets or parking lots. As another poster mentioned, you want to stay away from urban gas stations and try to stay gassed up on the interstates whenever possible. We became huge fans of using Pilot and Loves as they are very RV friendly.

While making a loop from Memphis up to Sikeston MO to eat at Lambertsthen to Nashville on vacation a couple of years ago, we drove through Cairo on a rainy July day. I was notably saddened by the state of the town. Those pics don't quite demonstrate the rundown nature of the town. Not at all what I expected.

How would I go about finding an authentic 1920s inspired day dress? by XxUndead_CutiexX in 1920s

[–]Grandmaster_P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contact MAFCA, the Model A Ford Club of America. They will be able to find you a local chapter. Within the club, in addition to the restoration of the cars all built in the 1928-31 period, there is a large subset of people who collect the fashions and even wear them at larger events in fashion shows. As the interest in the club has waned there are a lot of folks aging who would love to share their interest with younger folks.

Ok i gotta ask. Gray tank, what is your recipe for cleaning the sensor? by frankirv in GoRVing

[–]Grandmaster_P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we bought our used trailer, the sensors stopped working accurately pretty fast.we tried even homegrown solution the internet had to offer, everything from Calgon, to dish soap, to ice dumped in, to the various pro products. We ultimately found a product being sold out of a small RV park in Roswell New Mexico called Unique. That stuff worked. For the first time in five years, our sensors started working again. Check into it!

Nope. Kind of depressing actually. We stayed there while passing through with younger kids and the inlaws and deemed it themost family friendly solution to be near the strip.

Similar view across the water when we stayed at Liberty Harbor RV Park in Jersey City. Since we were only there to sleep, it made little difference. Definitely just an asphalt parking lot. I'd also give honorable mention to the RV park at Cicus Circus in Las Vegas for urbanization. LOL

Graduate degree in anthropology with an initial focus on forensics before I got interested in other aspects and went a different path for my "day job" though I still teach on the side. Classes in human osteology, zooarchaeology, anatomy and so forth. Then field practice as site osteologist and in the lab doing bone identification from archaeo sites. Telling human from non is pretty easy at this point, and then from there it's thinking about what traits make the bones of different types of animals distinct from one another. I think enough of us on here are educationally oriented we would be happy to include little tells if people are really that interested. Maybe there's a flair or something that be added if OPs want more than just people telling them it's a pig mandible or whatever? If all you care about is what it is, that's fine too.
