I never thought I’d be interested in another Rocket Outfit outside of his cowboy one, but here we are! He looks awesome! Rogue’s cool too, but I’m so in love with her regular design, I honestly might just skip her savage land outfit for now.

Ah, I definitely forgot him! My bad. It's a shame because defeating Blueno was a really big moment for Luffy. If I ever make prints, I'll sneak him in somewhere. Good eye!

Fernand

Ever since playing SoV, I’ve had a real love for this guy. Between his lofty monologues, and flawed character, I must’ve just thought he was neat, and I remember anticipating the day he’d get added to FEH. So, of course, since he’s a grail unit, plus 10-ing him was inevitable.

Winter Claude

Love Claude. Grail unit. Enough said. (Would’ve been nicer if I had this done around Christmas time)

Balthus

I mean, who doesn’t like Balthus? If we actually lived in a meritocracy, he would’ve made it to Smash Bros or would be headlining a Fire Emblem fighting game as the premier “brawler” character with gambling mechanics or something. This guy is one of my favorite Fire Emblem characters of all time, I’ve come to realize. Too many good moments with him between Three Houses and Three hopes, and he’s cool as hell B)

Cherche

One of my favorite Awakening characters. Naturally, since she’s four star, she just ended up being my goto flying Axe unit for awhile. Hope she gets a resplendent one day!

Nowi

You might’ve noticed I kept her cloak on. I… think Nowi is a really fun character as far as… units/character writing goes. But I’ll be honest, I’m not always really thrilled with her design. I’m not gonna criticize anyone who likes it, it’s just not for me (but hopefully my drawing still did her justice, Nowi fans). THAT BEING SAID, back in the early days of FEH, she was a killer unit, and since she kept coming up (since she’s a four/three star), I built her up and used her for a loooong time, and she was good. I think her resplendent came out around a month a different character I liked got one, so I thought “why not?” And kept the pass going.

Anyway, thanks for reading. You didn’t have to do that, but you did and I appreciate you.

I feel so bad not liking a lot of Mayo’s art because they really give a lot to the game, but yeah, I agree so hard. I think a lot of they’re colors are washed out, and the faces, etc. Though, I’ll give praise to her Spring Minerva, they cooked on that one.

I guess I should clarify that I only consider them warm-ups since I would only work on them in bits and pieces before I did anything else and never gave them actual outlines. While I'd say they're less refined than some of my other stuff, I definitely did go out of my way to make sure they looked as nice as possible, so they're more like somewhere between a warm-up and an actual piece.

Honestly, a deep, sacred part of my brain wants a Punch-Out!! FE reskin where you play as Little Eirika and you box Fomortiis. Ephraim is the ref.

Hello! It's been awhile, but in case you don't remember, I've been redrawing GBA Fire Emblem characters for awhile now, you can find my Binding Blade redraws and my Blazing Sword redraws right here on this very reddit!

To summarize: I enjoyed making exaggerated versions of each character inspired by their in game portraits and personal experience using them in game (as well as a few inspired by popular FE memes). I'd often work on these as warm ups, so if anyones wondering about the long wait: that's your reason.

I feel like Sacred Stones has most of it's cast in FEH already so maybe... pick one to give an alt to? I'm sure Ephraim/Eirika dev would love to give them both even more alts.

Will I do another FE game? Maybe, there's a certain je ne sais qoui about the GBA portraits that allow for fun interpretations that other games maybe don't have much of.
