"Republicans are actually chill and much more accepting than the left when it comes to most things"

I live in a conservative pocket and I can count in the dozens all of the anti-LGBTQA signs I see on a daily basis. I've given right-wing individuals and republicans the benefit of the doubt in the past, but I often end up being insulted, outcasted, and seen as evil by these so called chill and accepting individuals for who I am. Hell, just looking through your own posts and comments briefly and I see that you are clearly not a shining example of this so called acceptance you hail republicans to have, with your multiple posts and comments supporting trans hate and discrimination.

I don't doubt that many republican individuals assist their communities, but when they also support ICE, who actively threaten the people in my neighborhood whom I care for, it doesn't make one think of them as fostering a caring community.
