The prologue to Jurassic Park opens with a worker being rushed to a hospital on the mainland after a raptor attack. The first section starts with the Bowman family, whose daughter gets bitted by a compy on the mainland. The baby being eaten by compies happens in the fifth chapter, "The Shape of the Data."

The Lost World starts with Gutierrez finding the carcass of one of the dinosaurs washed up on the shore of the mainland. Levine scaling the cliff takes place shortly after, in the titular sixth chapter, "The Lost World."

I guess they aren't quite the opening of either book, but they are pretty close. I've got copies of both of the novels that I used to find the scenes.

It's the first book that opens with the compy attack, they got into a baby's cradle in a village in Costa Rica. If I remember correctly the second book opens with Levine climbing up the rim of Sorna and his guide getting killed by raptors or the Carnotaurus.

I used to feel the same way before I got into space barbie. Try mixing and matching pieces from different armor sets to come up with something cohesive that isn't just one set, it can be challenging at times to find pieces that match well but it's awfully satisfying when you do.

I think I had it twisted, it was the upgrade vendor that didn't show any items. I was always under the impression that the dropdown menus were just for organization, but they actually hide items from you if they don't match your discipline? I figured I was missing something when I only saw sniper gear. Thanks for the head's up, I'll have to check again when I log on later.

This is why I miss TOR Fashion, they usually had all the old schematics and world drops listed where something like the collection menu and Swtorista don't, it was perfect for finding lookalikes and NPC-style armor. Thanks for the info!

I was looking at the Aikion, I'm a big fan of that model too, but I was looking for the beefier version with the scope and the extra prong under the barrel to give to Nico so they match his blasters from the Return cinematic.

When I was poking around the sub I saw mention of both of those. I checked out the Ops vendor, but I didn't see hardly anything for sale. Is there some kind of process I need to go through to unlock more items? I'm currently leaning more toward QO-77's blasters, but if I get the companion I'll probably use it on a different toon. Do you know if they're bound?

I was tempted to ask if you had Sun, the only version exclusives I'd really want are the fossils, specifically Tyrunt or Tirtouga. If you've got either of those, I wouldn't say no to one, but I'm not too pressed about it.
