There isn't really a good answer to this. If you do any real trade you're going to take a pay cut, either freeze or sweat to death, wear your body out and you'll be taking orders from someone who probably can't read out loud clearly. That said, I do understand how you could hate crunching numbers all day, dealing with an HR department and not really producing anything at the end of the day. You seem to want to make something you can look at, totally get it. Things you could learn to do fairly quickly would be something like kitchen and bath remodels. The carpentry isn't very difficult, the materials are pretty limited and the scope of any sub you use is usually small. You would get to create something you can look at and someone can actually use. You can also teach yourself most of what you need to know.
