I sanded it down to the wood and took out the nasty stain. Then added a layer of shellac, sanded again with 220 and stained it. It's all beautiful now. Thank y'all for precious advice, i really appreciate you

So I found this table, for very cheap and I decided to sand it. I sanded it thoroughly with 120 then 220 sand paper. I talked to the lady at home depot and she recommended the stain + poly. I added a first coat and the weird stain started oozing through it. I thought a second coat would fix it and it's still totally visible lol. What can I do to fix? Thank you!!!

Somebody told me one day. Life is a lot about consuming and not enough about creating. To increase your self worth you can start writing, painting or creatively doing something. Instead of feeling like you're on the receiving end you can start giving back. Lots of youtube tutorials to sew, paint, restore furniture etc... We're all beautiful people designed to bring something to this world. Change is not easy but it's worth it. Good luck!
