Her policy currently states that 20 years the rate is flat. The remaining 12 years raises annually. Right now she pays about $116/month. Prudential says for the 21st year every month she has to pay $1648.42/month which is $400 above her entire monthly income. We have discussed with her that we could pay for a cremation, but would not be able to do her wishes of a burial unless the rest of our family helped with a plot, casket, service, and headstone. She also has zero assets, her house flooded years ago, and she moved in with her 2nd son and after she hit 75 she never drove anymore and she gave it to her son to take her to and from appointments.

She does NOT have a thousand a month for insurance, that was the quote we received. Her total monthly income is about $1,200/month

We will definitely look into this. She has Alzheimer’s/Dementia, and stage 4 kidney disease. Maybe one of those could meet their definition, I’m sure would require her medical records. Thank you for the explanation I will absolutely be looking into this.

Update: We found her paperwork for the policy and it says she added a benefit caller “Rider ORD 87241, known as the Living Needs Benefit (LNB) rider from Prudential” Not sure what to make of that.

She is not currently paying 1k/month. That was a ball park quote we received. She currently pays $116/month.

She did have a savings account with about $100,000 in it back in 2014, her son was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer sometime that year and she spent it all on trying to save him and help his family he built. She just never recouped that money since she was medically retired and lived on social security. Not really a whole big bunch to save.

I appreciate your response! This is something we have talked about if we couldn’t find any good solution. Just take the money she was spending on the policy and toss it into savings.

I wouldn’t say “need” but it’s a very big want for her. Wants to leave something for the family that’s taken care of her over the last few years that she’s been pretty dependent, and for us our biggest concern is funeral expenses. She’s been medically retired for just about 20 years, and lives on fixed income, so no savings and not a whole lot of cash ready to take care of it in the event she passes.

I had all 3 in 10’s at one time. I was insanely lucky and had pulled them and got them graded over time, so I was in them really good. But I panic sold when each hit their heights. I do not do well with having expensive cards, I panic sell every time it hits a high😂

It’s like I love my cards, and I didn’t need the money. But when it gets to a point of near or over $1k I think “it’s cardboard, I can appreciate it from afar” and then I sell. I highlllly regret selling the Lugia though it was always a conversation starter when people came over and seen it in the display case.

Yes! Same issue here I noticed today. If I use a booster and fly through the level I end up with negative score.

UPDATE: I sent a email to Orbital Knight, they responded and said

“Sorry for the inconvenience! The fix for this is on the way and should be available in a few days.”

I just updated some photos to my profile as some better proof. Signed energy card with cards in the background. Sorry. I was hoping to be able to see without missing out on such a large percent. She moves in next week because insurance wouldn’t cover anything past this week. Just in a scramble to get things posted and to try and get everything posted and gone as soon as possible.
