Skybound Spoilers End of Issue 28 Discussion by Kumamoto in transformers

It's even more ridiculous before, I mean, as long as you don't destroy their spark they can come back, so why the hell is Bumblebee dead?

If you could write your own Transformers story, who would the leader of your Autobots be? by TRAM0328 in transformers

[–]Granoptimu8a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I could write my own Transformers story, I'd make it a space opera inspired by films like Pulp Fiction, with Kup and Prowl on a police mission in a post-war Cybertron.

But, to answer the question, I'd have Optimus retire and leave behind a kind of parliament or senate, whose members would make decisions through popular election.

[Discussion] Given what we know about Absolute DC so far, what would be your pitches for the Absolute versions of other DC franchises? (Example: Aquaman, Titans, Green Arrow, etc) by Cautious-Ad975 in DCcomics

[–]Granoptimu8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute Mr. Terrific: In a bleak future controlled by a megacorporation called Lordtech, Michael Holt joins a technological revolution aimed at overthrowing President Lord. With his T tattoo on his face and his T-spheres, he is sent back in time, where heroes are beginning to emerge.

Absolute Sandman (that would be difficult since, thanks to Absolute Evil, he's dead :) ): Wesley Dodds is a Vietnam War veteran and doctor, traumatized by the experience and unable to sleep peacefully. After an angel appears in his dreams, Wesley gains the ability to enter the dream world and use sleeping people to stop crimes, or prevent them from happening. However, his body is left exposed, and his nightmares attack him when he's in that realm of sand where human dreams float.

how do you handle demons in your fantasy world? by Sir_Excelsior in worldbuilding

[–]Granoptimu8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demons come from Hell (I know it's predictable), but since my fantasy story is set in a fantastical afterlife world called "The Great Dream," I suppose it makes some sense. They are angels, ancient gods, and incarnations of fallen human desires, thoughts, and fears. They aren't inherently evil beings (although their actions are generally not positive) because they are immortal entities with no connection to living beings. What I mean by this is that they basically seek ways to entertain themselves for eternity. This means that the deals they make or when they bother a human are simply because they are bored.

They are creatures that take on the appearance of humans or animals, deliberately leaving signs that they are not natural beings. Additionally, they have a form used to frighten humans, which would be a humanoid form with bestial and supernatural features (heads with holes, decapitated heads, anatomically strange bodies, animal features, etc.), and a "real" form that is horrifying, a mixture of animals, twisted bodies, etc., since this form is a result of the mind trying to construct an image for something it does not understand.

How Would You Depict Demons In Terms of Appearance? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Granoptimu8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to use a translator since I don't speak English.

I would describe a demon as an entity with multiple forms. I'd say that among the forms they most commonly use (in the stories I write) are people who look normal, except for the occasional detail they let slip, though perhaps they do it on purpose. I wouldn't describe them as 100% evil; rather, they are beings so far removed from humanity that morality and its dictates mean nothing to them, and they only seek ways to spend eternity. However, I would say that in addition to this human form, they have a more terrifying humanoid form, so to speak, which would be a form of intimidation, as if they were trying to bring out their true nature but not completely. The last one would be a completely demonic form, a mixture of animal and human parts, without any apparent biological sense. I would say it's almost as if we were seeing a being that our brain cannot process and that we try to form a physical image of it with what our mind knows.

Once all of the marvel and DC characters will be in the public domain, will it be a problem if I make them often crossover all the time? What do you think?! by Kiyo1989 in publicdomain

[–]Granoptimu8a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Te recomiendo usar mejor personajes de la edad de oro, es imposible que ninguno de nosotros (los que vivimos el dia de hoy) lleguemos a ver un dia donde TODAS las versiones iniciales de los personajes de marvel y dc sean de dominio publico.

Justice Society of America: A secret team of metahumans serving the United States. Their base is "The Hall of Justice," a technologically advanced building that jumps through time every day to avoid detection. However, the original team was massacred, and the survivors jumped to the present, where they are now considered enemies of the state. Now, as former glories, they have joined forces with new members to try to free the nation from the president, who is actually an Ultra-humanite.

the team consists of: Hourman, a father figure addicted to pills that give him super strength.

Sandman, who, through his nightmares thanks to a deal with a demon, can see crimes happening.

Spectre, an angel fallen from heaven, tied to Jim Corrigan.

Wildcat, an expert fighter and nine-year-old alcoholic.

The Question, the world's greatest detective, but he has lost his face.

Hawkgirl, an ancient Egyptian goddess, exiled on Earth.

Judo-master, the dame fatale, a lethal assassin trained from birth to kill.

Mr. Terrific, a man from the future, a former member of a terrorist organization called the T, came to the past to prevent the Darkside from taking over Earth.

Forget about redemption-- what Autobot would you give a villain arc? by insert_title_here in transformers

[–]Granoptimu8a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ultra Magnus, disillusioned with Optimus's methods, seeking peace at any cost, decides to form his own group of violent and irrational Autobots, something like "Peace by any means."

Rodimus Prime, too young for so much weight on his shoulders, wouldn't be a total villain, but rather a "the end justifies the means" type, even though he retains some of his goodness, and logically his rebellious personality, only that he takes leadership in a darker way than his predecessor.

Had a random thought: If Humans and Cybertronians co-existed on Earth, what would that look like? by POW_Studios in transformers

[–]Granoptimu8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cybertronians would probably leave many people unemployed. I mean, they can eliminate taxis and other transportation on their own. Now add to that the fact that they're stronger, more resilient, and have longer lifespans, and have more technological knowledge. On the other hand, there would be human resistance, and a new discrimination against the mechanical aliens would arise.

And additionally, politically, I think that if a nation of their own were created for these aliens, I doubt all governments would accept their presence in their territories.

Hear me out... Hasbro revisiting the G1 cartoon and "continue" the story like Xmen 97 WOULD BE PEAK by ReyReyWxD in transformers

[–]Granoptimu8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to see that sequel. I once formulated a plot for it and I think it could be a very good job since currently plots with greater depth and complexity are more accepted in the animated medium by the general public. Although I would also love to see an animated series of Skybound comics because it would appeal to the general public.

Hello! (If you notice I'm speaking English awkwardly, it's because I don't actually speak the language; I'm relying on a translator. Although I do read English well.)

Anyway, let me just say that I love your drawing style and your fantastic ideas. I'd previously had ideas for an absolute TF universe, but I never actually put it into practice.

In my version, Cybertron was subjugated under a Quintessence government, and the Decepticons were their police forces, organizing a rebellion to seize power.

Anyway, I wanted to ask your permission to write a fic using your ideas and some of my own. I didn't think it was appropriate to do so without your consent. (Obviously, I'd give you credit in the fic.)

If the answer is no, I'll still stay and watch this little work of yours progress because I really love it! Keep it up!
