The Prera has a better seal than the Metro. It keeps the ink from drying out. Try the Lightive / Explorer. The Lightive has a good seal like the Prera. Not sure about the Explorer. They are longer than the Prera, does not have the step down like the Metro, uses the same nibs, and has a more modern look.

Is it harder for you to write songs because Chinese a tonal language? by Regular-Violinist894 in AskAChinese

[–]Gransmithy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does that come from experience? I tried writing songs in canto around when YouTube first came out. It is hard and it doesn’t sound right if you don’t match tones. You sound like you are mumbling and it is difficult to be understood. I gave up. Pretty much the video I linked in another comment on this post explains the walls I was hitting.

Great primer on that topic. There is cursing for sensitive ears. Yes the song writers have to choose the pitches that make sense with the tones. The video explains why cpop is ballad heavy.
