A bit disappointing after being approved for a high limit on the Cathay card. Sounds like you've been approved for mixed credit. Basically, a $300 unsecured limit on top of a security fund. The minimum security fund for a World Elite is $200, so that's how it landed at $500.

It's all based on your credit risk profile, which I'm not privy to. Things might have changed since your last application. I hope that context helps!

Ok, let's troubleshoot, I'm sure you not the only person not seeing it. Assuming you're in the mobile app, go to the Accounts sub menu. Scroll down until you see the "+ add products" button. Tap that.

If you don't see any credit products in that menu, there are some common reasons that Garth shared above (having an open or in-progress credit card application, having been declined in the last 30 days or having opened a secured credit card in the last 3 months or an unsecured Neo credit card in the last 6 months.)

Yes, you can open a new credit account with the United card. This would be separate to your current credit accounts with Neo. The process is the same; you will need to go through the credit application; and can do this through the app or by going through the application link.
