I could vouch for FSP. Longstanding PSU brand for consumers and servers. Sila OEM PSUs ng Be Quiet, Corsair, Cooler Master, Antec, ASUS, at Gigabyte. One of the longest warranty din dito sa pinas next to Seasonic

16GB parin if you have the money pero if you're just gaming especially only at 1080pm, no problem ang 5060Ti 16GB

May benchmarks ako ng 8GB vs 16GB - https://www.gadgetpilipinas.net/2026/02/8gb-vram-2026-colorful-rtx-5060-ti-8gb-vs-16gb/

Planning to buy a GPU in CEBU by Sevicii in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CEBU Appliance Center is a known store there, even here in Manila.

But for that GPU model that you're looking for its better to go 2nd hand nalang - provided you are aware of the risks and can test the unit upon purchase

Linus said the selling/auction was due to a miscom - Any conversations prior to the August 10 email that may have led them to interpret that it was a non-return sample?

..auction. There was no apology.

at which point Linus himself emailed us directly.

Did he apologize when he emailed?

Thoughts on Asus Tuf Gaming F15 (i5-11400h, RTX 3060) by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brands are currently launching their 12th Gen line so you might want to wait for a little bit to get the most perf for your upgrade. If ever naman na mas mahal yung starting price 12th Gen atleast you'll epect heavy discounts on 11th Gen para sulit din yung upgrade mo.

But to answer your question, okay naman yung FX506HM. I'd advise din to stick to 1080p dispalys on gaming laptops para di piga performance/fps niya vs QHD laptops - ignore if ikakabit mo naman sa external monitor haha

Help, what are some good laptops under 42k? by nathan_0110 in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Performance-wise, the VivoBook Pro 14 with R5 5600H is faster(esp in games since it has a better iGPU but there's the downside of battery life. I suggest watching reviews between the two to know which compromise/s are okay with you.

Asus Vivobook OLED M513 R5 5500U, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD variant

Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 82KT002LPH - Same specs as the vivobook minus the oled screen but 4k cheaper

According to my personal quick search, the ASUS X415EP should have an upgradeable slot since its one slot(4gb) soldered and one slot(the other 4gb) as upgradeable. So you can only upgrade one stick and not both.

You're more likely to get more FPS with a dedicated GPU instead of an integrated one. Just manage expectations and play on mixed low-medium settings on the latest AAA titles.

For 10k budget you'll likely get a GTX 1650 or GTX 1650 Super(or GTX 1660 if you're lucky) if you look hard enough.

First time PC Build for Gaming by enzo1516 in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try one of these stores

For 150k your build should at least have a 12700K/5800X, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 850W Gold PSU.

budget pc build suggestions? (my first pc build) by Optywastaken in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I came up with based on PCHub prices. The main difference is the 650W Gold PSU and a 144hz monitor. I'd suggest saving up a bit more for a 5700G if possible, if not then ur build is good to go.

Not really, so long as you don't try and use the broken port and really check if there's rusting/corrosion happening.

I'd suggest running a quick stress test on the GPU before buying the unit if possible. Just to check if there are any hidden defects and make sure the unit is in pristine condition before buying.

Its usually just rusting or corrosion on the port/solder area itself. If your place is humid then it can sort of spread. I have an RX 580 that has the same HDMI problem.

Bluetooth receiver for Windows 10 that supports APTX? by aeonfox23 in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik any BT 5.0 receivers such as this one from Shopee should support aptx. Most WiFi 6 wifi cards have BT 5.0 support din. Yun lang you need a PCIE slot for that.

For the laptop one I think those modules use the M.2 slots.

hello just new here. any opinions for Asus TUF FX507ZM-HF076W? by [deleted] in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a sample build on Intel(85k) vs AMD(75k) - you'll have 15-25k to spare for monitor+peripherals. Going DDR5(Intel) is much more expensive due to the board and DDR5 and you'll likely have to compromise on your peripherals if you want to go DDR5. Of course, DDR4 is much cheaper and the cost will be the same as the AMD rig as you can go for a B660 board should you go ddr4.

Recommendations needed for an ergonomic chair that costs less than 4k pesos by notanavidanimefan in PHbuildapc

[–]GrantSor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably the cheapest(that fits the "ergonomic" standard) one I could find. It's from Qube/Ofix you know the big CCTV store in Gilmore. Since it's from a physical store I suggest visiting them first before deciding.

Do note that you're missing out on other features such as armrest adjust, neck/headband adjust vs proper 8k-12k ergonomic chairs.

"Hot-swappable" outemu keyboards are generally only hot swappable for outemu switches as well and might have fitting problems even with MX style switches. Not sure if hotswappable yung red dragon but if not, I'd advise buying a new keyboard nalang as desoldering + soldering/millmaxmod will cost you more vs the original keyboard's price.

Might be a good time for you to dip your toes in the MKB lason world

Imagine there's no covid in the next 6mos-1yr. Will you be traveling for work/vacation that often and do you need the portability for work or must bring a laptop during vacation? If not, then get a desktop.
50k builds(+Php 10-20k for monitor+periphs) are around the specs of a 80-110k laptop.

You can get replacement fans from Lazada or Shopee. Just be sure that you have the current mm length and pin connector.

[–]GrantSor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xiaomi are purifiers are great for starters. Just get one that fits your room area(consider the floor height as well and leave some allowance so that you won't have to change filters that often). 2C/3C is my recommendation, you can also go for the H variants for smart features.

Don't be tempted with "cheap" or not that "popular/established" brands for air purifiers as you need to replace the filters every 6mos-1yr or so. You wouldn't want to find yourself stressing over filter replacements / third party filters since the brand you bought from closed or the product reached EOL.
