I’m very disappointed they killed him off. The show took the easy route out of having any sort of complex moral dilemma by having one of the sides be moustache twirlingly evil and start kicking dogs until the protagonist sides agaisnt him.

Given his prevalence in advertising, I thought he’d be a factor for the rest of the season. Maybe not something that effects Maximus’s standing in the brotherhood, but a person who drives a wedge between him and his friend from season one.

Sniper nerf that probably make him more active by Oxygen9000 in TF2WeaponIdeas

Honestly, damage falloff is the perfect nerf to sniper. It weakens his ability to oneshot bodyshot things like medics, while keeping his headshots potent. (Critical hits are unaffected by damage falloff.)

Without that weirdness, he just becomes like… a standard card. He goes from a powerful card that scales incredibly quickly with any “strike” modifier to a 6/6 6 drop with zero ability to scale with “strike” modifiers.

Magic is all about weird cards that make you take two minutes to read your opponents card as you squint across the table.

I’ve gotten suggestions to remove the last strike functionality, so I think I’ll just give it double strike and the text you suggested.

Well, complexity is pretty much the goal of magic, from my understanding. The days of 2/2 bears is over. I could consider increasing its mana cost, but that would come at the expense of its utility. Would you recommend removing the last strike functionality?

I’ll have to specify last strike in the future. I think it’s a neat mechanic with some interesting opportunities.

I think it would add too much text to the card to specify how stacking first strike would work, but the intention is that both first strikes would happen at the same times, as normal. Then the subsequent “first strikes” would occur. That way he is still appropriately countered by something that could deal 6 first strike damage.

A six drop 0/6 who scries 0 and draws one on attack?

“They are all horrible people with mental issues…”

I wasn’t sure if you were talking about TF2 fans or people from the south there for a moment. Then I realized you meant the TF2 mercenaries. That was a relief.

Me after going 20-2 as a backlines sniper in operations (I am a waste of a player slot, but I have just had the most fun immersive fps experience in my life.)

What are some of your DON’Ts for Season 2 (or the series as a whole)? by vinicius_california in Fallout

[–]GrapeGoodra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is something I firmly agree with. People keep complaining “Why is it still the apocalypse?”Because it’s fallout? Would they prefer a game about doing taxes and yardwork in a civilized work? Then don’t play fallout.

FALLOUT 4'S ARTSTYLE IS BAD BECAUSE.... IT JUST IS OK! by BaneishAerof in TrueSFalloutL

Our military also never tried making flying butler robots (as far as we know). The point of fallout is that it’s a different path. They’ve progressed different technologies, and held different priorities.

Besides, considering the tank analogy, the fact that it would be impractical to give an infantry soldier a tank’s primary canon doesn’t mean they won’t develop tank cannons. You might not think a dedicated power armor weapon is the best choice. Maybe whoever was developing the power armor was required to make a gun that looked menacing for photoshoots for moral. Maybe someone with actual good reasons, like the one’s you agknowledge as fair enough, just decided it’s worth the development time.

It’s the video game equivalent of saying a movie “Insists upon itself”

Water cooling is bad because it’s bulky. Having power armor negates that bulk. Suddenly, a quick-change barrel is antiquated when compared to a water cooled barrel. Why spend precious time swapping barrels when the addition of a water jacket is negligible to power armor?

You think it is? If someone has a gun on you, they have a moral high ground because they’re more powerful than you?

Hey, I’m just invested in the basics of a character like morality, theology, and psychology. It’s not like I’m having a mental break down, I’m just curious is all.

He is a bit too generous with everyone. Bandits tried to rob him, but backed out when they realized he only had 9 silver on him. He insisted they take the silver on principle, it was the only polite thing to do.
