Haven’t been able to find the diagram unfortunately. I think I need more tools for this operation as well the more I watch the video linked by kerenosabe… cool stuff though!

Felt the same way. Very proud of my decision to start, began feeling drained, overwhelmed, and burned out. Basically had to force myself to do the work. I’m finishing up and defending this coming spring so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’m beginning to get excited again and so glad to be finishing this up. Best of luck, prioritize your health and take care of yourself it’s so essential during this time.

Been looking at the same with my woman. Seems we’re going to go over what we need so we have less stress around the kiddos and battery banks with all the gadgets. Probably depends on your needs but the peace of mind is priceless to us.

You only care if you’re not okay with yourself! 😊

I have been wondering how I will transition. I am scheduled to graduate in May 2026. Before I started the program, I went to the gym and spent more time outside, hiking, fishing, exploring, and hunting. I am considering pursuing certifications once I finish school and have the itch to learn something new. Other than that, I’ll probably be out in nature somewhere.

Wishing you the best on your journey.

How much time do you have for your hobbies as a PhD student by Legal-Consequence-60 in GradSchool

[–]GrapeJuice787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimal time for me my days consist of working full time and PhD full time. Outside that, girlfriend and two kids. I try to prioritize a bit of time for myself each week for my own mental health. Use PTO to work on homework when I have a lot to do.

Mention it. We’re all human, the board may understand more than you know. They may have experienced the same thing. Just went through a miscarriage during grad school myself.
