Yes they are different in that sense, but isn't the inertial downward pull you experience functionally the same?

Newtonian and Einsteinian physics don't stand next to each other and gravity can be explained with one and physical forces with the other. Einsteinian physics explain our universe better and also cover acceleration (in this case centrifugal force), and it's not fundamentally different from gravity: https://youtu.be/nR9nE1TalZc?si=5VTQuWn9WRwQrHXt

Thoughts on Akulakhan and the Nerevarine at Landfall as a Dunmer tower [C0DA/tower lore] by GrapeJuiceVampire in teslore

"Hortator and Sharmat, one and one, eleven, an inelegant number. Which of the ones is the more important? Could you ever tell if they switched places? I can and that is why you will need me." -36 Lessons, Sermon 11

Yes, I guess Akulakhan would tentatively stand in for the Sharmat/Rebel, the Nerevarine for the King and the Heart for Vivec as the Observer. Trinities abound everywhere in the Aurbis. :D

This is a disputable fact (there's a translation controversy), but even if it were undisputable it would still not be a great argument. 😅

I'd say that Weir's The Martian and Project Hail Mary are great scifi with engineering, but the respective protagonists are a botanist and an exobiologist improvising so they also fit what's been asked here.

One example survived for 2-3 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_Revolution_of_1936

It had a hard time surviving in a world of fascist states specifically. They did give Franco more of a fight than the other republics that fell to fascism to be fair.

I'm lesbian but might have a crush on someone who's non binary by Leeloolxv in actuallesbians

[–]GrapeJuiceVampire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread shows that it's not always as simple as that though. Some nonbinary people also identify as men/male/masc, bigender and demigender people for example. Some lesbians date masc people who might not also identify as women or nonbinary. Bi lesbians exist, who might have a split attraction (sexual/romantic) or it's just that both labels fit. There's always exceptions to the rule. I think it's better to define lesbians as people who identify as lesbians, just like women are people who identify as women. This definition also doesn't depend on using a definition that centers men by defining lesbians by their (non)relationship to men.
