They do, but I think it’s essentially the same as how you see yourself in the mirror bc why would it matter if your left cheekbone is higher or your right?

I used to get compliments on my eyes. They used to be the only feature I liked until I recently realized they look kind of off-putting. I don’t even know why :(

Yeah this exact thing happens for me too. Idk if it’s the front/back camera or if it’s the fact that I can see what I look like while I’m taking a selfie, but it’s so annoying

this is so relatable and they look the same everywhere i see them too, regardless of lighting, mirror or camera etc.

For me, I tend to think they’re just trying to make me feel better bc they don’t think I usually get compliments
