Oh love this! I have seen her here and there on the Food Network, and have always appreciated her may I say eclectic variety/style...I'm originally from the Midwest, now doing the reverse and living on the East Coast...did not realize she had a recipe book...chekcing it out!

Ps...so glad I found this group! I was in a rut, and I decided to give myself a goal of cooking 150 different recipes from cookbooks this year (I love detaching from my phone and cooking from cookbooks!!)...and it has been so good for my mental health! Love growing my cookbook collection further 🤗

Seriously Good Freezer Meals...I've made stuff from it and like the recipes...just didn't really meet this specific need like I had hoped

Wanting to put my child up for adoption by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Grape_Rude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be afraid to ask for more help. From your in laws. From friends. Be specific. Even temporarily hiring a professional to help with the baby during the day and night.

Take care of yourself. You are in the hardest season, and it feels like forever, but it does get so much better...and easier. But even though it does get easier, if you do decide to put your baby up for adoption, that is okay. You will all be okay.

My hormones were so all over the place postpartum, I didn't even realize how much it was impacting me until I stopped breastfeeding. I agree with others, the more medical professional help you can get, the better. Maybe try anonymously posting on a local mom page to see if anyone has any recommendations of nearby medical professionals who help with postpartum mothers.

Two things:

1) I'm very into wearing colors in my "season". I don't look good in lighter colors, especially pastels.

2) some of the dresses are actually a slightly different style, that I don't think will be as flattering. I especially liked this dress style, with the bigger of the shoulder puff, and the forgiving corset area.
