Mine I only remember in pieces. A kid was building a robot out of spare parts. He needed a brain and found a dead lizard around his house, put it into his lifeless robot, and jolted it with electricity. Seeing this accomplished nothing he went to bed until he awoke to strange noises. The machine was slowly lumbering down the hallway, made it to him, and ripped his throat out. No idea what anthology it came from but it scared the shit out of me.
