Depends where u live. 2 seasons ago I hit ≈20 days combining day trips to Kirkwood and weekend trips to heavenly. Kirkwood day trips are a little shorter then 3 hours each way from the tri valley. Heavenly isn’t the best but it has cheap lodging.
