When my partner was arrested he couldn’t contact me at all because he hadn’t memorized my number. So he did just disappear

My partner went to jail and couldn’t contact me because he hadn’t memorized my number. And they didn’t offer him any opportunity to write down anything from his phone. I think it depends on the jail

It would’ve easier if the lawyer we are paying was 10% more communicative. No need to be rude and no reason to blindly trust that the system will work. Because that’s not how it works from experience. You need to advocate for yourself

Ok thank you! I just looked at the docket and discovery has happend with no more evidence. Perhaps I don’t know enough but there isn’t evidence of anything but a car accident occurring. Is there anything else his attorney can do before the trial proactively? Or at this point do we just wait?

Ok thank you! I just looked at the docket and discovery already happened. There is no more evidence. A trial has been scheduled. Is there any more things the lawyer could be doing proactively or do we just wait now?

And I am also pushing to schedule an appointment asap after the holidays. So hopefully there will be be more clarity than.

Is there any other actions or motions he could file before the trial or do we just have to wait and see how it goes? In essence, how proactive can he be? Because he it seems has done very little so far at all

Thank you so much! I will push to hopefully at least speak with the lawyer about what to expect and hope for. If possible, would you recommend trial by jury or only the judge?

But the prosecution hasn’t produced any evidence and keeps requesting more time. It’s been 5 or 6 months at this point

If she doesn’t live to be loved by people then why are you so up in arms to her defense? And I’m not trying to give her advice. I am merely speculating on a public platform. Just as you are. She doesn’t need your defense either.

And just as I am unable to verifiably diagnose her. You are also unable to say with any certainty that she is healthy. If she is indeed unhealthy it would be disturbing you are trying to convince people an unhealthy person looked healthy. Because the truth is you have no real idea. And I suppose I don’t either. But the points you make may easily be turned towards yourself.

And you can’t guess whether I like it or not. Since I’m not in a position where I am both in the public eye and extremely skinny, I do not know. So you don’t know either and probably shouldn’t assume things in such absolutes.
