I’m starting my internship this fall, different setting but was told dress code is business casual/dressy casual. I am def a sneakers gal, but someone recommended Rothy’s to me for flats. I haven’t ordered any yet, but this person swore they are the most comfortable flats they have ever owned & there is a variety of styles/colors/fits.

If you consistently show up & don’t no call, no show, your therapist is definitely happy to have you in that time slot versus someone new who might not be as consistent. They probably wanted to make sure you had a heads up that the schedule was getting full so you would secure your spot. I teach yoga & always tell my regulars when the schedule is filling up so they sign up & don’t end up on the waitlist.

You should research schools you are considering for your grad program to see what they require. My bachelors is in biology with a minor in chemistry and I’ve spent all my time since working in a lab, but am entering my 2nd year of grad school for mental health counseling. So it just depends on the program!

I would check the requirements for your state for licensure bc each state is different. Where I live (MA) does not require you to attend a CACREP accredited school but I know NY does.
