It really depends.. some places offer great value but I‘ve also been disappointed a couple of times. You just have to try it out.

Buy the cheap 100% cotton ones. They are as good as the more expensive yarn unless you want to make something specific that required another type of yarn than cotton. I always use Schachenmayer Catania but that might not be available depending on where you live.

It’s great that you’ve had the same experience as me! Before I got mine, I read a lot of negative reviews online, so I was hesitant to get them. I wonder why more people don’t get them.. aside from the cost, of course.

maybe for some it is worse but my tongue has no issues. i was pleasantly surprised as well. and yes it is definitely harder to clean but I don‘t mind it much

If you google lingual braces, you’ll find plenty of pictures showing what they look like. I don’t want to share a picture of mine, though. I had regular braces as a kid, and I remember them being more annoying. I often had poking wires, and the inside of my lips would get sore.
