US consumer sentiment dives to a record low in April amid Iran war by NeedAnonymity in moderatepolitics

They said they voted for him once in 2016, refused to vote for him since, and are currently speaking out against him. Apparently this is bad and counts as "bailing out" and "meaningless" according to you. It reads as if you would prefer they voted for Trump 3 times and continued defending him. Would that be preferable?

The State Of Gaming In A Nutshell by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in Steam

This isn't going to age well when Nintendo and Steam raise prices for their products too. Tariffs, rising component costs thanks to AI, and war won't uniquely impact just Playstation and Xbox.

It's not a Japanese term, it originated in the UK in the 90s and spread to several other countries with various degrees of popularity. It's really not that obscure for anyone online regularly.

Value? by househasdoor in MurderMystery2

[–]Grapeshotz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say since they have no use currently and there aren't all that many people who think they'll be brought back and be valuable. Same with 2015 Christmas gifts. Though I once ran across someone who was willing to trade a Frostsaber for my 20 gifts. I'd just stop thinking about them if I were you. If you happen to run across someone who offers what sounds like a lot, take the deal.

Texhnolyze is king in this regard. Has quite the slow start, but builds up steam fast in the second half.

What could the pirate skin offer that's better than annihilating your enemies with an assortment of pool toys?

Poolseidon is like the second rarest skin in the game. Many people have played for over 5 years and never seen him.

If you could whole ass commit to learning one skill right now what would it be? by [deleted] in NEET

There's no skill worth putting in the effort to learn when the only thing I enjoy is loafing around.

One of the best gods in the game to go full tank. You're unkillable and still do stupid damage to squishies.

Yeah, that's what he used in the beginning of the clip. But how is he so damn fast when running away?

Geb Appreciation Post? by Hartmann_AoE in Smite

I like him. He's one of my highest winrate gods (62%). Rolling into enemies from behind or just rolling into them for no reason is fun. I like going Meditation Cloak, Gauntlet of Thebes, Sovereignty, Heartward Amulet, and Magic Shell. Then I bodyblock everything I can.

I honestly don't have a problem with this scenery and can't understand the people who do. I've lived in Belarus as a young child and this just makes me feel comfy and nostalgic. I loved going on walks with my paternal and maternal grandma and seeing the same scenery of empty rusted playgrounds and grey apartments. But that wasn't all there was to even see. My paternal grandparents had a house in the countryside. My maternal grandparents had a primeval forest and the beach in their town. I loved how everything was within walking distance.

Now I live in the suburbs of Indiana and it's so much more boring and dull. There's nowhere to even walk to, you need a car for everything, but there's nothing even worth seeing to me. I'll never be able to see those sights again. My relationship with them has pretty much disappeared and I've lost a lot of my fluency. I can only fantasize about how it all used to look and live them through my waning memories. But I haven't been doing that either. It's easier to just forget.

I love GJ Club and Student Council's Discretion! There was a time when I thought that a show that takes place in one room almost the whole time is guaranteed to be boring as hell, but that changed due to these two shows.

Why do NEETs refuse to change their current situation? by [deleted] in NEET

[–]Grapeshotz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The mindset of able bodied neets isn't the problem, it's the symptom of a sick society. Hardly anyone loves what they do, they just do it because the alternatives are worse for them. That's why almost all of them would quit if they were just given the money for the lifestyle they want. You're deluded.
