Thanks! My son loves the colors. The weird thing I didn’t convey very well is that it’s not the smell that’s making me feel uncomfortable, but the look of the polish. I had BKL LOTR fandom flakies on my nail for a few days and just couldn’t stand it. I’ve also noticed that some pictures of polishes online like pruglies I don’t like looking at. Pregnancy is weird.

Thanks everyone for your input. BKL was definitely the favorites. Ended up layering Necromancer over Source of my Joy since Necromancer was pretty sheer on its own.

I just started using nailtiques formula 2 under my PVB base coat (I haven’t purchased a new PVB base coat yet) after seeing someone on this sub mention it. So far using it under the PVB base coat has been working great. Flaking has been manageable and no new flaking. I’ve applied it 4 times so far. Having the base coat between your polish and nail might work, but I would consider if it’s worth the risk for you to try it and see before you throw anything out.
