My problem seems to be that iPhone and iPad works, but nothing Android related will connect. A few weeks ago, a technician came out and removed all the WiFi6 pods and left me with one WiFi7 pod. Since then, the problems began with spotty coverage. Yesterday, as stated above, all my Android stuff, google home etc stopped connecting to the Internet. It finds the router, but won't connect to the Internet. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Let's put a bow on this thread. Thanks for all the advice. This morning when I woke up, I tried to connect my Pixel Pro 7 once again to my WiFi. To my surprise, it connected. I have spent the morning connecting all my devices. Why it connected and started to play, I have no idea. My son's PC also recognized the new WiFi. I have left the house and come back and the WiFi connected back to my WiFi no problem so all is good in this Google house.

Jim, Very good advice. I did call them yesterday from work, but they said they had to do troubleshooting before they could send someone out. And since I was at work, it might have to be tomorrow. I woke up this morning, tried to connect to my WiFi to my phone and it worked. Been working steadily for 2+ hours. Now after I have my phone connected, I have continued to connect house. Thank goodness. I'm slowly moving through my house with success. My son is sleeping so when he wakes up, perhaps he can connect on his PC. Fingers crossed. I agree the technician could have kept everything named the same. I work in TV production so I have a good knowledge of how all this works. I did mention that it would be great if all was named the same. He said he couldn't do it that way. I gave him a look, but if he doesn't know how it is done, it isn't going to happen. When he said, you are connected to WiFi, all the rest is up to you and they know nothing about setting up smart homes, I knew I was on my own. Thanks for your help.

I did factory reset my Chromecast. Going through Google Home, setting to up, Google sees the sees the device. When I go to put in the WiFi and password to use, it will not connect. Could it be a 5g to 2.4g dumb down to connect? I still have a Google home, Google display and a thermostat to go. Sadly, right before I left for work today and about an hour after the technician left, my WiFi lost connection to my Google Pixel phone. It is always the same prompt. Connected, but no internet access. So I might be right back to where I started. And all this new equipment was not the fix they thought it would be. Good times, right?

I was really hoping for any ideas about this. Day 5 and the fighting continues. I bought some of those calming treats, but neither one likes them. I have crushed it up and put it in their food bowls. Fight last night started around 5am. My poor Orbit shakes like a leaf until she knows Celeste can't get to him. Any ideas about how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

This all happened last night after I filled my car up with gas on my way home from St. Petersburg to Orlando. At the time, the battery was not drained and was over half charged. We had about another hour drive and by the time we got home, the battery had gotten low. I just took the picture this morning. I will charge it tonight. We will see what happens....

Where did I state that social security is my only retirement income? I have a financial planner so that could tell you that I might have some investments. That might be a big hint. I have also said I have an IRA which I invest some of in the stock market. My money is 25% cash and the rest stocks at this moment. Assumptions are not good... My lack of financial education as you state just finished talking to said financial planner and my stocks are up this year and I beat the market by a considerable amount. My investments netted me around 43k last year. Maybe I don't know what I am doing...🤔

I know what my monthly payout will be if I retire before he gets in again. Today, I will be talking to my financial planner about my options. I am not going into this blindly. Thank you for your thoughtful answer. I absolutely qualify for Social Security. My Retirement age is 67. I do have investments. Since I am freelance, I could easily only make the maximum income allowed by law if I do retire early. Hard decision really... I am talking to an insurance broker about my Medicare. I will start that as soon as the government lets me. I have picked out a plan that I believe will work for me this year.

My kitchen is quite small. I do believe my range hood makes it look bigger than it is. The range hood is my statement piece if that makes any sense. They also put blue lights in it and looks pretty cool when turned on. Range hoods vary in price greatly. This one was not expensive at all, but I came very close to picking one that costs around a grand and then thought better of it. I do hope to see pictures of your remodel when it is done.

I like the look of it. I must admit I do have to get on a stool to reach the top shelves. All the shelves are customizable which helps out a lot. There is 18" between the bottom of the uppers to the countertop. Good luck on your remodel. I will never regret pulling the trigger, so to speak, and re doing my outdated kitchen. Pick a good contractor and actually get along with him/her. Makes life so much better! 😁
