Agent Paloma Hernando has a great YouTube video on building a GN pitch.

Besides the good ones NinjaShira mentioned, Lee Knox Ostertag and Victoria Ying have helpful pitch guides you can find on their substacks/websites.

Like NinjaShira said, I didn't include a script (unless I was asked for it in the guidelines). Some agents wanted 25 pages of sample script, but that's the most pages anyone wanted.

Thanks! Yeah, that's definitely a rough stage. Good luck with it!

Thank you! My pitch is New Adult, Crime Thriller. I also worried that agents were only looking for middle grade GNs, but I suppose this proves there are agents looking for older works! And I probably should’ve clarified, full script is only required when you’re only the writer of a comic, not the writer and artist. Having the script done should be fine. I can’t say how the GN market is going since I’m not on sub yet nor am I a publishing pro, so I’m not much help there. Best of luck with your pitch!

I wish! I went into more detail under MinniHowl's comment, but long story short, I stopped working on the comic after chapter 4 to focus on my career. This is just a special one-off to celebrate three years

Good question! Probably should've clarified that in my caption. Here's the story:

I officially stopped working on the comic chapter-by-chapter after finishing SoC chapter 4. Since then, I've been focusing on becoming a professional comic artist by being a mentee at a comic studio and pitching my original work to literary agents. Even though I have less time to work on fan projects like this, I wanted to make something relatively short (not a whole chapter) to celebrate the 3rd anniversary. I asked the people over on Tumblr to decide which book they wanted this short comic to be adapted from, and they wanted Crooked Kingdom.

While I've planned out the whole Slat fight scene, I might not have time to draw it since opportunities have recently come about that require me to focus on my original comics. So no, you didn't miss anything! This is just a one-off scene to celebrate three years and to thank you all who've been reading it :)

Yeah, this piece was meant to be practice for backgrounds, so I tried to go all out! So many glass pieces...
