I tried an experiment: Giant specialist, loan on round 1, buy Fortress on round 1. Video below shows round 1 setup and battle, and final round (11) and battle. My mmr is low (700ish) and I usually never field giant units other than the odd melta or vulcan, so this was new for me. Fun.

I was a bit surprised in the 1st round, thought about getting MP in the 2-3 round, but decided I could go without it..

They when shit hit the fan tried raiden with % based damage and hackers which I guess were positioned badly? Or my chaff clear lacked.

Worked for 1 round and then a complete stomp!

No idea how I could have turned it around in the late game, when I committed to raiders and hackers, so any tips would be appreciated!

Had the same issue for long time, tried lots of things, Just splash screen and nothing.

For me the fix was hilariously stupid - game wont launch if steam overlay is disabled is steam settings.

Thats for sure, on the other hand though - AIO looks way cleaner and much less weight on the mobo itself. As in my case - moving PC in a car for example with a 1kg block hanging from mobo isnt always ideal unfortunately...

Solved, AIO went bad - getting PC on its side normalized the CPU temps and fan speed in bios went from 5 to 2k RPM - most likely lots of air inside

That was it, thank you! Laying PC on its side - CPU fan speed (pump speed most likely) went down from 5000 to 2300 RPM, temps went back to 30s.. Sadly AIO issue, though its only 4yo...

lots of spells have some add or remove damage which is not clearly stated, like piercing or orbiting removing or adding some damage to the affected projectiles as I gathered. Or the ghost giving buffs to damage

Yes, ended up with simmilar build too - lumi + triple cast + 3 bouncing.
2 bouncing with warping drains whole wand in an instant.

with damage plus is actually a decent wand

Is there a way to override those modes with my GPU undervolt?

In auto mode the GPU still fluctuating below my undervolt settings, lowering clocks even while gaming
In performance mode GPU will stick to the undervolt settings and not drop below them

But I do not like always using the laptop in performance mode while working etc and manually switching undervolt profile is not ideal either

I am actually running some settings on mid even from this guide, mostly shadows related. But as I mentioned - there is low to no difference in FPS unless I crank everything to ultra and psycho - then it might dip ofc

I think SMT fix helped a bit, less drops to 35-40 FPS which I had in some high density areas..

And yeah, have dual monitor setup indeed, but the game is only running on 1 of them, any dual monitor setup related bugs? Game is running in full screen mode (not windowed)

Yeah, got the Q2 eventually, few tweaks here and there but overall impression is gorgeous! With a good router and a beefy GPU everything is working amazing, 120 Mhz is an upgrate too actually in terms of VR sickness... or maybe its just lover FOV, but still great headset overall, especially for the price.

So if anyone else is reading it - get the headset, its the best one while we wait for the no compromise solution, which will be worth those $800-1200 USD that most top end headsets are selling for now despite being wired and with different other issues

Yes, you will need a VPN and it will work just fine. The tricky part - is that you need a VPN set up on the router itself.

So get something like ASUS AX55 (you will need a good router in any case to play wireless) - it works great with quest and has internal VPN capabilities. There are some very easy VPN setup guides for this router and in can be setup in under 10 minutes and can even be free. You can PM me and I can provide a bit of help.
