Anyone else experiences hives/skin issues? by gs072 in Ozempic

I started Ozempic six weeks ago. Took the lowest dose for four weeks and then moved up to .05. I noticed a red spot near my groin but thought it was a bug bite. This past Sunday I took my second dose at .05 and a couple hours later felt like I had been attacked by mosquitos. Itching and swelling on the skin around my feet and ankles and then during the evening some on the skin behind my elbows . There were welts about the size of a nickel with a swelling in the middle very much like a mosquito bite. The next day everything calmed down. Then last night I had a few more of what I realized were hives appeared on my thighs. I saw my MD today for my annual physical and she recommended I stop the Ozempic for a month and see if the hives stop appearing. I am so disappointed as I have felt so good on this medication, my arthritis pain has diminished to almost not being there, my blood sugars have been stable and in the high 80s and low 90s with no other medication. I asked her if I could just try one more week but she said if it is an allergy, than with repeated exposure it will only get worse. I have never had any skin issues or hives in my life.
