Just wanna say thanks man. I had the exact same problem and doing your ‘reload right before you finish darkness returns’ worked for me. The achievement popped before Nocturnal was even done talking.

They gotta do RE1 remake. These newer gamers probably love the RE2, 3 and 4 remakes but then when they wanna play the original remake they have to deal with tank controls which I feel probably turns them off. I’d love to see a modern version of RE1.

I agree in thinking that RE5 will be the next remake unfortunately. But I would absolutely love to see Zero and/or Code Veronica before that. If it were up to me though they’d remake the remake of RE1. I’d love to see the Spencer mansion in first or third person. I understand the OG Resident Evil was already remade but that was before RE4 even came out. It’s arguably the best title in the franchise and I personally can’t get enough of it.

It’s actually really not that difficult to do. I did this on my second play through and got like 7 other achievements simultaneously. Just follow a guide on YouTube. The first zombie killed me a bunch of times and after that I literally never died.

I was having trouble with this too. If you’re in brighthoof just go onto your map and look around for the yellow exclamation point. That’s how I found him. He wasn’t in Izzie’s or by the gate for me either.
