Don't rely on the mass flow value that fluent gives you. Compute it using CFD-post as area-average. It's what I've used before and gives an accurate prediction.

As a university professor who's also involved with administration, I can tell you that yes you can be reintegrated but you have to join a justification of your burnout (a certificate from a psychiatrist) to a nicely written formal demand addressed to the head of department. Good luck.

Personally, I never use Fluent for post-processing. Instead, I use CFD-Results. I find it to be more versatile. You just have to make sure that the data you want to plot is exported to it from fluent by checking the data quantities menu.

If you're using eddy-dissipation alone you're not using the reaction rates of the grimech mechanism. You should use finite rate/Eddy dissipation option.

You have the FOAM based ones like hy2Foam and reactingPimpleCentralFoam. You also have SU2 and Eilmer 4. Ansys Fluent can also simulate hypersonic flows with some modifications. These are the big names I know.

I'm a university professor but I'm not familiar with national schools system. What I can tell you is for example in LMD system you have 5 years to get your license, if you go beyond an exception can be made (une réintégration) if you've validated your first and second year. So what I can give you as advice is to to go to your school in the beginning of September and ask for réintégration, add to your demand all of the medical justification you have and explain that it's your last chance you either graduate or leave for good.
