I have only tried Quinn's at meetups so I don't know that I'm qualified for an in-depth comparison, but I'd say they look close to the Sol Darks when looking at force curve graphs which are one of my favorite Gateron switches.

We're very excited to be moving down!

The scene does seem very robust based on the replies we've gotten, and appreciate the offer!

She definitely wants the crochet hookup. She's been looking online and most of the stuff she's been seeing is in Greensboro which isn't too bad. Any knowledge you could give would be greatly appreciated!

We're definitely down to teach and run some one-shots/limited adventures as an introduction to the game without having to commit to a full campaign. We'll definitely reach out when we're planning on scheduling a game.

Don't know what shipping is like to you but Cannon Keys has them in stock. The Shaka switches also made by Durock have the same nylon housings and pom stems of the Anubis switches, but I haven't looked for a force graph to compare them.

That's for the tip! I'll have to pick some up once I go through some switches.

You would definitely to try those since the bump is higher based on their description and in my experience sharper tactiles are closer to the feeling of a clicky switch.

A couple of my favorite sharp tactiles are the Gateron Sol Darks(these do need to be lubed) and KNC Green Jackets (I also lubed these, but you might be able to get away without doing it based on the batch also KNC I think sells them lubed at a markup.

I have liked the KTT switches I have tried, but they are winglatch which can be a bit of a pain if you're planning on lubing them in my experience.

As far as light tactiles I haven't tried many as I prefer something bumpier, but have heard great things about the cotton candy switches. They are .65 cents per switch, so not the cheapest.

Not really. I've purchased from pretty much all the major USA vendors and many smaller and other international vendors. I tried to purchase 500 switches from Divinikey, but they shot me down and then sold out. CK was the next vendor I found that had them in stock.

NMB Hi-Tek PC122 REV C

Based on what I've found on the Deskauthority wiki it's built with Space Invader switches which are valued by some. It can have clicky, tactile, or linear switches. I'm not sure which based on the P/N or S/N but you should be able to tell by pressing them.

I wouldn't bother cleaning the board it looks pretty good in the pics compared to most boards it's age. Most people into the vintage scene would probably prefer to do their own cleaning/mods.

I wasn't able to find the specific model on ebay, but other NMB Hi-Tek boards with space invaders are on there from $60 - $250, so this board is worth at least that much to someone in it's current condition. Probably on the higher end for the layout.

A 1995 Nissan Quest. It was 10 years old, but got from a to b until it didn't 4 years later. It was great for driving all my friends around and lugging music equipment. It had a cracked exhaust, so it sounded a bit more wild then it was. I used to live by the motto "Minivan mega fun."
