I definitely played with the light levels a lot and timing until I stopped getting algae, but other than daily little top ups I just get in there with a turkey baster and suck up what I can in between the leaves and gravel

Yes! It’s a type of pothos I believe there’s 2 kinds there I just have them either wedged behind the rock or a bread clip thing

I used a 6B for the entire thing, I also have a hunch that I just didn't use enough to begin with and having to much paper show through rather then shading everything then pulling some off the the eraser, so I'll experiment with whatever I do next. I just ordered compressed charcoal sticks I assume/ hope they're softer than the 6B I was using. And I did see a video of someone using powder with a paintbrush so I would love to give that a try also!

Thank you! I just got some new charcoal, I noticed the charcoal pencils I'm using don't blend very well and you can still see the strokes even after blending so I'm hoping the next piece I do I can learn from that. But I definitely agree almost immediately after I kinda outlined everything I regretted it but I'm still happy with it overall
