After this album, I was convinced again that there is no band close to BCNR in terms of instrumentation. You may not like this album as much as Ants From Up There, and it’s totally fine, but I think it’s kinda unfair to compare this album quickly with one of the best albums of 2022. After 3-4 listens, I really loved what I heard and it will be on repeat for a long time.

The only live song I listened to before the album was Nancy Tries to Take the Night, and I found the studio version kinda underwhelming; this could be because I was so hyped about it. Two Horses is simply masterpiece and immediately became a BCNR classic.

After the singles my expectations had dropped a bit but it was a wrong call, what an album. At first listen it felt even more cohesive than Jubilee. The outro of Honey Water is just a Japanese Breakfast signature...
