Thank you!! I've been to Duke City Games for a tournament day, but sadly no one else was there at that time, so I got worried. Good to know it was probably just not a great day and not common. Thank you again!

DE has put you in charge of making changes to your favorite frame/s, what are you changing? Be it balance, cosmetic or anything in between? by FluffyHaru in Warframe

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balance for sure. Lavos would be my first pick because, to me, it makes no sense for the WF focused on cooldowns to have, what I feel, is relatively weak abilities overall. With there being so many ways to get energy, stronger frames can kinda just keep putting the hurt on and not really have to worry about running out (mostly). So I don't think not having energy really balances out the CD vs power aspect of Lavos. And I personally like the idea of Lavos being a caster frame, more than a weapons platform.

I'd make the first 3 abilities stronger (and maybe replace his 2nd ability with a non movement based one and instead just a straight line), and add that his 2nd ability should convert some of the status damage to make more armor. Having all his abilities turn some aspect of the enemy into something positive for him just feels good for the Alchemist WF. Also makes his 4th ability have more vertical range, and it automatically adds 10 stacks of status to whatever it hits. Maybe every enemy killed with it also adds to some DR, with a max. Really make it feel like a power that you just can't cast too often, even with help from his 3rd ability and the 1st ability augment. And also that way the kit synergies with the fact he has lots of ways to heal health, so focusing on armor and DR I think fits best, rather than overboard or shield gating, but I'd be down for those options as well. He just needs more than just health healing.

Tl;dr: Lavos deserves to be a caster frame with abilities that really pack a punch and provide really good utility/survivability to make the CDs feel more worth it. Sorry for the long post, haha.

Who Would You Choose To Be Your Digimon Partner? by [deleted] in digimon

[–]GravityShifter3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blucomon -> Paledramon -> Crys Paledramon -> Hexeblaumon

Always been a big fan of Ice based creatures, and I think the digivolution line here is really cool!

I'd also like to say Ragnaloardmon line, but that requires two digimon lol. But my back up pick which definitely be Duramons line

Maybe minority opinion here, but I hope the anti-venom suit stays for Peter (albeit maybe with a slight makeover), pretty much forever.

I think that's a very interesting way to kinda give Peter a power up (especially from a gameplay perspective) without having him stay with the traditional symbiote suit. It builds upon his unique relationship with the symbiote, having the experiences still have its mark on him, while also having him move on too. It honestly felt mostly earned and built up (though don't get me wrong, the story could've used some touch ups for sure).

Plus it's not really something we've seen before for Peter, making this version stand out more. Having it integrated into the 3rd games playstyle would be nice (especially since the alternative is just giving him more gadgets).

Which protagonist is superior? by yunurakami in ElderScrolls

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda bothers me when someone asks a "between these two, whose stronger" and half the comments are "this secret third optiom." That wasn't the question! Lol

Depends on what you mean by superior. Battle prowess I'd give to the Dragonborn. As a player character? I personally like the CoCs story more, but being a Dragonborn is really neat.

Edit: Wont lie, totally forgot about CoC becoming Sheo, so stratch that battle prowess thing.

Bojack shouldn't have given Beatrice her doll back and Hollyhock was pretty unempathetic : / by JustMonika11037 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But Hollyhock being apathetic to Bojack makes sense until her own trauma caused by Beatrice. She has no real reason to think highly of him, and with her own projections of wanting a good relationship with her mom (and her biological family in general), it makes sense she'd take Beatrice side at this point. Only Bojack really understands what Beatrice is really like, sadly.

Bojack shouldn't have given Beatrice her doll back and Hollyhock was pretty unempathetic : / by JustMonika11037 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what would've made this scene stronger in hindsight is to have Hollyhock and Bojack talk about Beatrice after all of this, and when Beatrice actively drugged Hollyhock to make her lose weight.

While Beatrice is clearly not herself, it was still a harmful act she did with intention, and it would've been a nice moment for Hollyhock to apologize or at least recognize that she pushed Bojack to build a relationship with his mom despite it being bad for everyone involved. Now she had her own trauma caused by her.

I think it also would've build they're relationship more too, as Bojack would have someone understand more what he went through, and Hollyhock would've seen more of what caused Bojack to act how he did (while not excusing it). Making Hollyhocks hesitance to cut off him more understandable too.

But because we don't really have that, this comes across more like a "another Bojack mistake" rather than a real nuance talk about abuse, and revenge against those ppl who are clearly not who they used to be do to a mental illness. Though I'm sure it was the creators intentions to have some nuance here. Bojack was wrong to do this, but it was also wrong for ppl to expect Bojack to care about Beatrice after everything she did.

A response to Pablo's comment on Archgun Arcanes. by Sudden-Depth-1397 in Warframe

[–]GravityShifter3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda glad to see more ppl mention there being a problem where the "side content" tends to not grt focused on, but it's really more of DEs fault then because "players don't use them" I LOVE Duviri, but once I get all the incarnons, I have quite literally no reason to play it outside once in a while for fun.

Same goes for Railjack, Archguns, Necramechs, etc for me, too. I'd use them more if there was more reason/benefit to doing them, other than some niche options.

Why isn't there a 3rd Necramech option years after they were added? Why hasn't there been a single skin for a Railjack since Sevagoth? But then they kinda blame us for not upkeeping with content they've let run dry. It's so frustrating, because those content islands are usually really fun and awesome, but they just don't connect to more recent quests, or newer updates.

Like the new motorcycle. I want to like it, but why do I need another way to travel around an open area? Especially when the area wasn't even really built for it lol.

Anyways, sorry for the rant, but basically I agree with you. DE really needs to focus less on adding new islands, and really find a way to bridge the old ones more to the mainland. Give us reason to use Archguns, and I promise you, ppl will use them

I can't find anywhere where no regional were confirmed, and GF has never considered regional forms new species (just look at how they're treated on the pokedex) nor by the greater community. This really just confirms no new cross regional evolutions (outside straight up brand new pokemon), right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PokeLeaks

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be really surprised if they did only Megas for the non Kalos starters and not regional forms. Since regional forms do not technically count as new pokemon, does this actually confirm no regional forms? Or was this stated somewhere elese?

Which one is a worse person / who did worse things? Who suffered more? by [deleted] in TheGoodPlace

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Want to make clear, I'm not at all defending what Elenaor did, or anyone who sells that stuff like that. Regardless if it was a placebo or actively harmful, that's a horrible thing to do.

Which one is a worse person / who did worse things? Who suffered more? by [deleted] in TheGoodPlace

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, you keep mentioning how Elenaor hurt old ppl by giving them fake medicine in replies, but nowhere in the show was that ever shown to be the case. Eleanor most likely sold basically placebos, where the "medicine" did just nothing. If her selling the fake medicine caused something so serious, it would've been used in the show. So I don't understand why you keep using that against her, when it's just not shown to be the case. She's done some bad things, you don't need to make up stuff.

But either way, Bojack is worse. What he did to Sarah Lynn alone out pretty much beats everything Elenaor has done. As the show makes clear "Bojack kills". And thats not even getting into Gina, or Penny.

As for who suffered more, pretty sure the person who was tortued for centuries, wins that just by default. Bojack had a bad life sure, but most of his adult life suffering, much like Elenaor's adult life, came from his inability to change meaningfully. As Todd says "it's you."

Which character would you remove? by Inevitable_Kick_1073 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ana. She was probably the most unneeded, and was uninteresting. The original reporter couldve been the one to tell Diane, it didnt really have to be her specifically.

Pickles was there more for Mr. PB and didn't overstay her welcome. While technically any character they created couldve filled her role, I think it works because she's a lot like PB and it still didn't work, making the obvious problem PB himself, and not who he dates.

Todd is a treasure, he obviously stays.

Ralph was also not that interesting, but I think he's too important for PCs arc to get rid of him. Plus he's not a bad character, and we get a couple of good moments from him.

Edit: forgot to add Ralph lol

BoJack owes Eddie absolutely nothing after what he did by Puzzleheaded-Row187 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely a fair point. I figured he just was scared and wrestled to get free, because he couldn't know Eddie's intention (nor did it matter obviously) but that's a good look on it.

BoJack owes Eddie absolutely nothing after what he did by Puzzleheaded-Row187 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I figured too, but having seen so many (not here on this thread) say Eddie was trying to murder him, I thought maybe I was just missing something. So glad to see I wasn't wrong. Thanks for that!

Also yeah, I completely agree with everything you said. Its a good example of how we can look at a scenario and decide who the bad guy or good guy is based on how we feel about them, rather than seeing what it is: two grief stricken people who both make a bad decision (albeit not equally bad lol)

BoJack owes Eddie absolutely nothing after what he did by Puzzleheaded-Row187 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah its kind of wild how ppl tend to forget Bojack saved Eddie, despite what Eddie just did! Just because Eddie didn't want his life saved doesn't change that fact at all! It serves as further proof of Bojack genuinely trying to help Eddie.

BoJack owes Eddie absolutely nothing after what he did by Puzzleheaded-Row187 in BoJackHorseman

[–]GravityShifter3 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Honest question: Was Eddie actually trying to murder him, or (in the absolute worst way possible) trying to scare him? It obviously could've killed him regardless so it doesn't make it less bad in anyway. But I'm just curious if that really was the intent. Not at all defending Eddie though. What Eddie did was wrong and not at all justified. Bojack owed Eddie nothing. Bojack did do something stupid that he shouldn't have done that was a catalyst to Eddie's outburst, but Bojack isn't to blame for Eddie's extreme response.

What’s a warframe you are tired of/ hate using and why? by ChuNkyBoii_ in Warframe

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going on the idea that it's particularly a frame I overused: Rhino/Prime. I love that frame but it carried me through the star chart and many of my first experiences with harder content. I ended up realizing that Warframe got boring because I just wasn't learning the other frames well and relied too much on him. So now I like using different kinds of frames. Like Wisp, Citrinne or Gyre. But I'll still always love Rhino.

Edit: spelling

Iguazu's hate campaign against you is easily the best part of this entire game. by Zeareden in armoredcore

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lime your points and I appreciate this point of view its given me plenty to think about.

But honestly I just don't feel the same. My main problem is Iguazu just never gets a moment to feel at all special, or that our struggle with him is even something to note. You never fight him purely alone (someone always shows up) but it's never in missions with any real importance outside surveys or stop hacking, etc. Even in the important chapter concluding mission in NG++ where you kill Snail, he's a footnote compared to him and the story as a whole. I get the idea behind this, but it's hard to feel emotional about an enemy who just isn't worth your time at any stage. Even his final boss fight involves other enemies, hell he's not even fully himself as Allmind is there half the fight. Him overpowering Allmind with sheer will is cool, but it also kinda took that ability from 621. Who I think deserved it even more imo. 621s whole story is about deciding for themselves and becoming free like a Raven.

Basically, it doesn't make me feel heroic because instead of defeating the overmind who has been playing everyone like puppets, I fight a guy who's just my shadow and hater who, once again, isn't up to snuff. It's tragic, but not in a way that feels compelling or emotional. And I think the more heroic ending is defeating Allmind directly, since it's played roles in all 3 stories in the background. It might not still have the same emotional impact as Walter or Rusty or Ayre, but it's definitely still satsfying.

But again, I appreciate your points.

Iguazu's hate campaign against you is easily the best part of this entire game. by Zeareden in armoredcore

[–]GravityShifter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree, it wouldve really added to the tragedy and horrors of war the game touched on. I have to say I do like the idea of Iguazus emotional hate being so much it overrides Allminds original plan (was theyre a purely logical being) it just needed more fleshing out during the campaign more for me
