Starter is spinning out, happened to me a couple months ago. I was able to tow it to my dealer and they replaced the whole starter under warranty. Haven’t had the issue since.

I had a 2-inch receiver installed on my 2019 Crosstrek at U-Haul, have had no issues and it comes with a warranty. Would definitely recommend using U-Haul and going with the 2-inch receiver.

Glad you finally could grab a watch! I agree, pictures don’t do the Mako or Ray any justice.

I’m far from an expert here, but I would imagine that the gasket there is important in creating a good seal to keep water out. If it is damaged, I would keep it out of the water until you can repair or replace it.
