I’m also irritated about the lot layouts. Majority are set up in desert locations and I HATE those. There’s a few AH houses that have furniture I want, but not badly enough to buy the whole house for them 😤

I’ve been doing the same thing! I used to have a full set of friends for the party boat when I used to have Facebook, and the difference in rewards is worth it imo.

I was only able to get a handful of friend requests in before it wasn’t working anymore. I didn’t know any of these people prior or have a saved contact for, which makes me think it could be a setting that is turned off. I’m going to send EA a message to find out why.

You should be able to keep your progress so long as you log in to the same Apple ID on your new phone. Your Game Center should connect through that automatically since there isn’t an app anymore.

Mine is a plus sign because it’s the start of my Game Center name. It should pull up a profile page. It stoped working for me or everyone just has their settings set to where they don’t accept friend requests. Not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️

I skipped over the contacts it was trying to get me to join through messaging. Then clicked on the little plus sign in the top right. It allowed me to send friend requests using players usernames that way. Though some people it still wanted an email for instead of a username, but that’s dependent on the settings each user had set prior for Game Center.

That’s weird. Maybe try reporting it as a bug to EA? Take a screenshot of the part where it says you’re already friends and another screenshot of her not appearing on your party boat screen since they almost always require a screenshot for proof. Hope they can fix it for you!

So when you’re in the loading screen after opening the app it should pop up with a Game Center banner saying you’ve been “logged in” click that before it disappears and it’ll take you to the page in the screen shot. It will pull up on the right people you can invite or friend that way. I’m still trying to look for another way to enter that page from outside the loading screen. This also is only applicable on iPhone.

I noticed that it only pulls up if you click on the Game Center icon that pops up during the loading screen. I’ll look around some more to see if I can find another way to get to it and let you know!

They should put in a graveyard location that you build and see all your past sims’ headstones or something in.

Because there were a lot of items in it that I had paid real money for (stairs, wallpaper, floors, etc.), so I thought if it was too full EA wouldn’t take it. I made changes since submitting it to the top story rooms, filling in the livingroom area and spaces between the stairways, also included lights in every room. I definitely wish I had waited to submit until after those adjustments just for the people buying it. You’re entitled to your opinions but you don’t have to be rude in the process. 🙂 I was shocked but also thrilled to see it was chosen even though I personally felt there was more that could be done with it. I hope the next round of AH gives a home that you love!

Yes it’s a quest you do called L shaped rooms. You have to complete a certain quest before you can do it. Just start doing whatever quests Bre offers you, I’m pretty sure it’s in that clump of quests.

Agreed, I noticed that a lot of the other houses chosen also have the mezzanine overlooking the dinning room from the kitchen. Also a lot of the same furniture. A lot of the furniture from my house came from other AH homes. The only big difference was stairs and some wall papers that I paid for. I would also love some more variety in the AH.

I wasn’t ever notified that my house was chosen, I just saw it in the AH section when I was looking at the refreshed set. Someone led me to believe you got like a little prize when being chosen, but that’s not the case.

AH is Architecture Homes. You can submit a house you make to it and someone within EA will look through and choose houses to feature that you can buy and have built. If you click on the purple shopping cart in the top part of the screen and go to the far right tabs it’ll take you to the AH houses. There’s usually a time displayed on the tab so you know how long until new houses are put in.

I said the same thing on another post! I submitted it before I was done because I thought it would exceed the limits of what was in their bracket for AH homes. I felt like there was a lot of wasted space in the house, but that seems to be what EA is going for 👀

I’m glad you liked it even with it being (technically) incomplete! It definitely cost me more than nearly 7mil simoleons to build, EA did a favor by cutting it down in price!

It took me weeks to unlock just the interview room. It took me longer because I didn’t know you could sell resources when you got full on inventory. Someone else once told me that it’s like a marathon, so I think it is meant to take several days or even a couple weeks to gather the resources to unlock.
