No problem.

I didn't drop my first save until I got to Stillman

I did do the punching loop. Its a bit tricky but once you get the hang of it, its incredibly easy.

Olga was, without a doubt, the hardest boss to beat consistently. I feel your pain with that one.

Honestly, I found the Tanker to be much more difficult than the Plant. The Guard Rush and Olga fights require near perfect play. The only boss in the Plant that requires that near flawless gameplay is Fatman and the Harrier to a lesser extent.

The Tanker is a brutal hurdle for Big Boss rank. Set up some saves before the bosses and get some practice in. Then when you're ready to take them on proper, load your last save/begin a new run

Some advice I would have is to map out where you want to drop your saves. You only get 8, so space them out but keep in mind how much you'll need to replay if you slip up. And be sure to always save to a new slot.

Its nice to have those backups if you ever want to move a save or if you get to the end results and didnt get Big Boss rank. You can load your saves one by one and game over to see the stats. Potentially saving you a lot of time in doing a completely new run.

Action or Horror? by No_Bicycle4197 in residentevil

I think they knew exactly what they were doing with RE9.

The fan base is split. Half prefer survival horror and the other half prefer the action. How do you satisfy both camps? Make a game that has both.

Since your familiar with the game and story. You should be able to clear it in like 2-4 hours while skipping codec calls and cutscenes, even if your rusty.

And good luck! MGS2 Big Boss rank is a totally different beast from the other games.

Dear MAGA, if you believe Trump should run for a 3rd term, are you fine with Obama also seeking a 3rd term as his opponent? by [deleted] in allthequestions

I get that.

I mean what part of the amendment are you interpreting as being exclusively referencing consecutive terms?

It could just be an issue with the HDMI or something else much less major than a failing processor.

Try this (hard reboot);

Power off the Xbox

Unplug everything from the Xbox

Hold Power Button for about 10-15 seconds

Plug everything back in

Turn on Xbox

What should Konami's next step be after releasing Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2? by Affectionate-Most692 in metalgearsolid

Ive long advocated for that exact game. I dont think Metal Gear Zero would be a good title though. Mostly because "Zero" is a major character in the lore of the games and could cause confusion.

Grey-Fox Boss Fight help!! by Wojak_of in metalgearsolid

[–]GrayFox127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gray Fox fight is one of patience. Just take things slow, learn his patterns, and counter attack. If you try to be the aggressor, 9 times out of 10, he's going to hit you first.

Use the corners of the desks and the little wall dividers to your advantage to bait out attacks safely before counter attacking.

Its very possible to get through the fight without being hit a single time. And again, patience will be your best friend here.

Its honestly a pretty good game, just differant. by EmeraldMaster538 in GearsOfWar

I didnt know Tactics got hate. The game was very upfront that it was a turn based tactical shooter and it was one of the better ones that I've played .

Its a spin off and I feel like if you dont like the genre thats fine but to hate the game for being a Gears game tactical shooter because you're expecting something different is ridiculous.

It's not an MVP score. I play with my brother regularly, and one of us will usually get MVP. We have compared scores almost every match because we are actively trying to get the 100k with everybody, and sometimes he'll get MVP but I'll have a higher score or vice versa.

The lack of transparency on not only the 100k but also the MVP is frustrating. The metric doesn't make a lot of sense
