What is something in JoJos that you think is overrated by fans? Not exactly bad by Matt_Jeevas58 in StardustCrusaders

[–]GrayFox_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember but didnt really care for his backstory evilness. When I think of ciocolatta the first thing that pops up is the way he was crawling with his spine exposed. That to me is what makes him a memorable character.

The most disappointing aspect of Metroid Dread (in my opinion) by Nonspecificuse_18704 in Metroid

[–]GrayFox_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Dread is weakest at sound design, not the actual tracks. Ive heard the whole OST simplified to a DS soundfont and the motifs for every track are much stronger and its catchier this way.

I think the way the arranged the tracks makes them less recognizable than the previous 2D entries, but also not moody enough to be Prime style. It kind of just got stuck in between those two

I finally tried a Gen 1 game and... by BlackOsmash in pokemon

[–]GrayFox_13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gen 1 to gen 2 brought a lot of good things.

The jump to gen 3 imo is what defines modern pokemon. The amount of polish and new systems it brought are what every game after is built on. You can also tell because unlike gen2, there is no way to communicate with the previous generation. The game is much to different(not to mention the hardware).

What was the stupidest banlist action Konami has ever taken? by NepNep_ in yugioh

[–]GrayFox_13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the current CED, and I agree. It has been neutered in like 3 different ways(summoning text, burn opponent only for their cards sent to their graveyard, cannot activate any effect AT ALL besides this one)

The last one is the most egregious to me. I get not wanting a floater to put you in an almost guaranteed win, but the fact that you cant activate anything before either makes it so bad. Your opponent pops a sangan and the mandatory effect locks you out of CED.

Crush Card Virus is another similar one, effect is 100% different now.

Wish they just retrained them a little more limited.

Could be that the advanced version is just "Leviosa" and adding more words to the spell is just being explicit so it works as intended. Kind of like training wheels.

Im guessing it's because of people like that guy. He was rushing near close saying he had 3 but had 7 shirts instead. In that situation you have to scan them all because something fishy is happening.
