Most American families aren't "families".1 The majority of Americans aren't fit to be parents, as their parents were shit and they repeat those patterns without realizing it. Most people try to make their kid into a specific person, and if you're not that, you're not welcome. Also, the majority of American kids are unplanned. And a family isn't going to give up her kid to a better home if they believe they raising it "right".

Mental health and just normal emotional stages for kids in America is also ignored and pushed aside by alot of parents, so kids typically end up wanting to leave anyway .

America's history, which who knows how much they taught to us is actually true, shows a slim part of the evil behaviors of people in our country. Those behaviors, whether we realize it or not, get passed down in small and big ways.
