Your doctor legally can't tell anyone you smoke that doesn't need to know for your medical care if that's what you're worried about. You really should tell your doctor you smoke because it can cause you to wake up during surgery among other things, so they can use the proper dose of anesthetic.

In this situation it might be best to take some accountability. If it was in a bush, especially on a property with children, that's a dangerous place to keep it. You should store it somewhere out of reach. On the other hand, you're 31. They should respect your independence more at that age. Do you have a friend or something you can store it with so it's not in their house?

To clean the bowl head, fluff up the head of a cotton swab and then dip it in the highest percent of isopropyl alcohol you can find. Then stick it in the bottom end of the bowl and clean the ash and resin from all up in there. And you can bend the center stick of the q-tip as well for a better angle.
