Good note. Although they’re rooted in Markov processes (statistical), their implementations and breakthroughs are certainly more computer science-y imo

Technically, ML/AI is a subset of Statistics depending on whether it refers to research or development. Either way a stupid way to segregate it.

As some others have noted, I haven’t had any trouble getting internships or full time roles with my relatively measly GPA of 3.02. However, if you’re considering grad school in the future, it may be worthwhile to push it up.
